    no. well--probably not--we'd have to decline his early bird rights to sign kawhi (cap hold is large). but we'd gain them back if he signed to any amount next year, and his full bird rights at that point.

    right--no matter what he makes this year. it's a loophole that i'm certain both parties have been aware of for quite some time. enough that it seems like nobody even bothered pursuing kcp.

    Good thing Greenberg has a desk in front of him to hide his boner. He has been ridiculously and openly biased against the Lakers getting Kawhi.

    He has said it is bad for the NBA, he has said "unfortunately, I think he will go to the Lakers."

    Who the hell is this guy, anyway? He's a host with NO information or sources. Maybe Jalen is right, but Mike Greenberg should pull a Dan Marino; die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.

    i think jalen and SAS are both just saying what they've heard. but there's a lot to hear. i'm sure ballmer is still telling everyone kawhi's set to be a clipper.

    greenberg's hated the lakers forever. doesn't hide it well. i'm certain he loved giving jalen that forum.
