I'd be really surprised if they didn't grab him. He has a ton of business ties where he needs to stay close to the Valley. He's such a business man himself he's probably going to draw it out a bit and the negotiations might be a little more complex, but I think it's really the only place that makes sense with where he is and where the league appears to be this year.

Yeah but that coach was let go, can't blame Vogel for what Walton did.

    • Rondo and Caruso are probably ours in any case.
    • Talk to Lin, Iggy, KCP if they are willing to sign cheap.
    • Get JaVale.
    • Talk to Boogie just in case, but don’t count on it.
    • If at least some of this goes well, allow Melo to jump on the wagon.

That’s enough firepower for a serious contender. And there are more decent players on that list. Lance, Boban, Nene... etc. Pau for sentimental reasons, but he’s done.

    Is Korver stll available?

He has zero market. He will take it and like it.

I'd take him and be hopeful that he doesn't get injured in the playoff run because he seems pretty beaten up at this point.

I honestly am really excited for Melo if he signs. He used to be one of my favorites and his decline has always rubbed me the wrong way. I think this team would be good for him and he would be an asset, but my feelings on that are really just based on me wanting another good season for Melo.

He had some really good minutes in my opinion. I think he could get a decent offer this year which he really needs to continue to build his value for next year.

Sure, but that doesn't mean we are guaranteeing him a starting spot. Last I'd heard he was taking a meeting with Detroit though so who knows what his market is? I'd be happy to have him back. He'd make a good rim runner next to AD, but would also clog the paint up too. Whoever was responsible for Brook Lopez walking away should get smacked on the head.

    So classy of them...

Meanwhile Kobe Inc. and the Mamba Academy didn't need that start-up money, eh Blake, er Ballmer?

Out of fairness to @vasashi17 I won't assign blame on it. :D

I know Magic half-way took credit for it, but Rob should have fought harder then.

Check my receipts bro...I already smacked up Magic for the BLo departure, among many other things. It's the over the top hate I'm smacking up the majority of the fanbase about...out of fairness ;) haha

Anyways, we already got JLo here, so f*** them Lopez twinz...let's bag them Morris twins instead. Now that would be klutch.

Letting go of Brook stings. If we're starting a 5 next to Davis, he's got to be able to hit a three. Boogie makes some sense in that regard.

I think the losing LA team throws most of their money at Danny Green and Boogie. If Kawhi goes back to Toronto, Green will probably follow.

Right now I’d go hard after Iggy and probably WCS too.

Whatta you? His agent? Have you not watched Cousins perform since he has come in the league? His attitude is his issue. He's worth the minimum and that's it. Nothing more.

If Kawhi ends up signing elsewhere and we fill the rest of the roster out with the remaining bums still available, how much cap space will we have in 2020 to sign some of the mid-level type guys we missed out on this year waiting for Kawhi? I recognize that depends on the contracts we give out this summer (whether or not a bunch of one-year deals like last time) but do we have any idea where we'll be in 2020 under that scenario?
