    Hope that works out. Said this in the Kobe thread (I think), I really wanted us to pair him up with Kobe during his Philly days when there were rumors of that being a possibility. He doesn't have a whole lot left, but is still a very good defender, veteran presence, and playoff bench player. If he'll come here for the minimum, that's a steal.

    Yeah, this is a move I’m hoping like hell actually happens. He would be fantastic for depth off the bench, for late game defensive possessions, and as a locker room guy.

    barea has always been a stone cold lakers killer. small, speedy point guards have long killed the lakers but he's been such a thorn in their side for years

    Kawhi has to decide soon. The Lakers will have to do open tryouts like Invincible to find players at this point.

    Updates:

    -Mutual interest between Lakers and Andre Iguodala's camp if a buyout happens. Lakers unsure as to how much progress has been made, if any, on a buyout with Memphis.

    -Lakers have expressed interest in Danny Green, but understand there's a strong possibility he signs with Dallas if Kawhi does not return to Toronto.

    -Klutch is pushing for the Lakers to take on a few of their guys, like KCP.

    -Expect to hear about other minimum deals as the Lakers wait on a Kawhi meeting and decision.

    Side question on Pau...is he a rafter guy?

    Typically it is HOF, being one of the main guys, plus championships will get you up there. He seems to fit all the criteria assuming he get into the hall.

    I can't really hate on bringing back a possible rafter guy on the cheap to hopefully do good things in limited minutes, while helping cement his Lakers legacy.
