Dahntay was the guy doing that before him, Bowen before him, Jaylen Rose around that same time, and so forth.

Pretty much all professional athletes are overpaid, but their revenue is in relationship to how much the franchises make. The media contracts have given them absurd revenue, but some guys are getting 10 mil a year (For most, more than a lifetime of earnings) for being a lower level member on a team. It's completely unfathomable. But some of the stars are close to making 50 mil a year soon.

It feels like it's all Monopoly money at this point. But at least we aren't participating like we were in 2016 with MozDeng

He said Lakers first there, didn't he? He almost threw the Raps in there at the end like a consolation prize.

If we're on the phone with DG, we gotta have Kawhi at least partially on board.

I'm telling you the AD haul (with us having the leverage) makes no sense if it isn't for preserving our cap to create a LAK'r 3.

Pels got picks for days, all our kids sans Kuz and dumped salary while creating a max spot to f*** with in free agency.

We gave them all that for AD... Who is a goddamn beast...but there has to be more.

Kawhi's gotta be on the way.

but his point was they are hard capped at 138 million, and 3 backcourt players = 100 of it. And they have Draymond Green making what 25 mil? Not much left period to fill out a roster. Lots of minimum players like we'll have.

I hated Bowen while he played but now that he's gone I miss his hard nose approach to defense and how hard he played every minute he was on the court. A grit guy, just not enough of those guys around anymore. Beverly fits that mold

    LOL wat?!

I grew up watching 80's ball. By the time the 90's rolled around the game had gotten super physical. The stuff Bowen did had nothing on that era and that's the style of ball I like. Drive the lane and pay for it. No blood no flagrant foul. Guys nowadays wear lipstick and high heels to the arena and cry if they think they're touched its sad a bunch of grown men whining all the damn time

Yes it it was us ESPN would be slamming Rob. They would say that he couldn’t be trusted as an agent and now as a GM. Dallas can just walk away from the deal scott free.

Edit: how could Dallas be talking about player deals all week if free agency just started? Tampering

I like these new guys. They can stay.

We "might" even forego the painful initiation process.

yes, the punches thrown by Rondo and BI (Even though it was bush league) gave me more respect for both of them. Those two floppers are horrible for the game. They are talented enough they don't need to be cheating for an advantage.
