    Why would Kawhi even take a meeting with the Clips now? I know he has to think highly of himself, but does he really want to carry that roster in the West? Beverly is a free agent and they lost Temple today too. No way they would be favorites to win anything with how his health has to be managed.

    So, the best the Clippers can do now is Kawhi and the same team from last year. That is not a title contender. I think that pretty much means it's the Lakers vs. Toronto. Come home Kawhi.

    Based off the players left on the market, I won’t be mad if plan C (we miss on Kawhi and D’Lo) is:

    - sign Danny Green for 3 years, 12 mil a season
    - Sign DeMarcus Cousins to 1 year $10 mil, player option for 2nd year
    - sign Pat Beverly for 3 years, $10 mil.
    - sign Seth Curry with Room Exception.

    Makes more sense now for Philly. I'd rather have Butler than Tobias, But a lineup of:

    PG - Simmons
    SG - Josh Richardson
    SF - Tobias
    PF - Horford
    C- Embiid

    isn't great but still solid. Horford gives 76ers some relief if they lose Embiid to injury next year
