    noel will fetch close to MLE is my guess, on short years (like 2). could be a consolation pickup for us if the nightmare scenario that the media is predicting indeed plays out.

    Just a suggestion; I'm kind of tired of looking in the "Breaking News Thread" and this "FA Thread," for things that are pertinent; is it possible to consolidate the two? If not, no big deal, I just thought it would make it easier to have one central place where we can access the latest news and information on Free Agency.

    If Kyrie/AD is done to Brooklyn, that means D-Lo is going to be an unrestricted FA. If we miss on Kawhi, there's you're fall-back option. DLo back to LA.

    D'Lo and Noel for the 32 million (assuming we have that much)? Sign Wesley Matthews to the Room Exception. That's a good First 6. Chandler would probably come back for the minimum. Korver, Melo, MAYBE JR for shooters?

    i'm not. what i meant was: if houston gets butler, and we don't get kawhi, we're definitely the underdogs.

    well, jordan would be a pretty big one. otherwise, no, i think we can compete there to some degree. it's just 3 stars vs. 2.

    plus, i think folks are underrating the natural fit of butler into houston's "scheme". they'll be able to employ the same offensive strategy for 48 minutes, every night, and butler would also serve as their primary stopper.

    we'd have a hard time competing, imo.
