Well that came along rather quickly.

And tickle me Houston (tampe)red at the "should Butler give a clear indication" part.

Horford is out. Gordon wishes secretly he signed with Utah. Allegedly.

Danny Ainge is one of the most overrated slaps in the NBA. He has not drafted ONE all world superstar in all those draft picks. He hasn't signed one all world free agent. He won one title in 2 decades because his buddy gave him KG for 2 rolls of toilet paper and a used pregnancy test.

But. I do hope the C Bags finally get something done. Because I want them in the Finals in the east when AD and Lebron get there with the third man. Ala NWO. And then when the Lakers win the title in 4 in Boston, the amount of (bleep) will be glorious.

If we lose out on DJ another guy to keep an eye on regardless is Faried. We need to bring in some dogs.

Capela already does what D.J. does and he’s younger...I guess if he takes a minimum to play with Butler but whatever.

This was actually a really shrewd move on Ainge's part. McHale was reportedly holding out for a new pregnancy test and somehow Ainge talked him down to a used one.

I kind of want it to happen. Those 3 on the same roster is a powder keg that will be lit the first day of training camp. And I don't think the fuse is long enough to last past the all-star break, let alone the whole season.

Why would Kemba go to Boston? Without Horford and Kyrie, I don't see the appeal.

And if we can't get a max guy, I'll take Beverley for that price. Rather go that route than DLo.

Jimmy Butler probably has a better right cross than Rondo. Cliff Paul better come straight all year long.

Don't count on getting Kawhi. If that's your one and only plan/hope, you might end up very disappointed.

Mitchell doesn't have us getting anyone. Some wishful thinking on a competitor's part

I think Eric Gordon is a good option if we strike out in FA. He only has 1 year left on his deal, Houston may have to to include another asset and he has ties to Pelinka. Obviously not the first choice but a reasonable backup plan. He's also shown that he can play in the playoffs.

Only problem I see is he's the one player that Philly would probably insist on being in the sign and trade package for Butler.

AD/Lebron/D'Lo/Kuzma > Harden/CP3/Butler/DeAndre. Will Houston get better ring chasers than us?

Sources on LG: SAS said that Kyrie/Durant are a done deal in Brooklyn, and Kemba is going to Boston.

That's 3 FA's that are down; Kawhi is still up in the air, and I think Philly offers Butler the max.

I'm hoping Kawhi don't take very long to make his decision, and I hope we have a good indication of what he's doing before FA officially begins...

I mean, why even have an official start date to free agency and a moratorium period if all these deals SEEM done days ahead.

Also why have tampering rules when they should be called anti-Laker rules.

if kawhi doesn't go to us, we need him in toronto pretty badly and we need jimmy butler not in houston.

if we get nobody, but lac doesn't get kawhi and houston doesn't get butler, i still really like our chances in the west and at a title.
