Damn. That's A LOT of money for a dude who's 33 at the start of next season. I wouldn't try to sign him either if I were the C Bags. But that does mean the C Bags will have almost a max slot available with Rozier's cap hold included, and definitely a full max without Rozier. Rozier seems to have burned some bridges with the C Bags this last season, so I doubt he's back. That may mean the C Bags are in the market for the same type of pgs we are. (Collison, Beverly, G. Hill, etc.) I wonder if the C Bags might go hard after Kemba? Maybe try to sign Kemba to like 30 a year and Cousins to 12 a year?

Jeez if Horford gets $25 mil/year, the middle of the pack guys will be getting 15-18mil.

Sounds like 2016 all over again LMAO. "don't worry guys, the cap spiked" SMH. But yoo, Kyle Korver just got traded to Memphis in the Conley deal and will likely get bought out. Vet min deal to LA and ring chase one last time with his homeboy LeBron??

100+ mil for a 33 old center (even when he's on the small side). Good luck with that.

Kyle Korver will get bought out. I think it's time for the Lakers to snatch him up on a vet min deal. He'll still be useful in the regular season and maybe playoffs.

Korver is old, but worth the minimum to play 10 MPG. I would not complain about him, he knows how to play with Bron and he can still shoot.

If Korver becomes available you snag him the very second he is. You do not want Lebron feeding Korver for wide open threes as the opponent. Cavs milked that and dominated.

I'm all in for Korver at a minimum deal. Played with LeBron before, and will be perfect for those pin downs that Lue ran...

Oh wait...Vogel is our coach...ok just use Lue's playbook please thanks.

I'll gladly take both of these guys on minimum deals if they're open to it.

RIP Woj's mentions if we land a top-tier FA. My goodness...

I like how he adds, "...that is worth investing all that money in."

Right now, Jimmy Butler and Kemba Walker are max level players, but if the Lakers sign either, then the narrative will shift into saying they're all-stars but not worth the max.

And with Kawhi, we'd still be able to sign one more player to SOME money using the room exception. We probably go after Darren Collison. I'm still high on Caruso. I think he will stay for the minimum, but he isn't a minimum level player. He's very solid. I think we could snag McGee again for the vets minimum. Would Reddick take the vets minimum to have a legit chance at a ring? Reggie Bullock might as well. You know we're getting Carmelo Anthony.

Let's theoretically say we move the players to get the max slot and then sign Kawhi. I think we could realistically see this type of roster.

McGee/AD (most of the minutes here)/Chandler
    AD/Kuz
    Lebron/Melo
    Kawhi/Korver/Bullock
    Collison/Caruso

Woj is like a fat mamas boy who pesters all the other kids in his neighborhood and constantly gets beat up and bullied yet still imagines himself as an alpha Male. F'ing loser.

watching the media "scramble" this year is as fun as watching them do so after the lebron decision last year.

let's just hope we don't completely screw the pooch again on the back end!

So Ricky Rubio will be available now, man, there are gonna be a crap load of players available this year. This is excellent news because most of the middle and top tier guys will get the big deals, leaving the mid to low having to get the scraps.

Getting AD is causing a desperate arms race where borderline contending teams are scrambling to get better by making trades and waiving good vets.

No need to overpay for the tier 2/3 FAs this summer. We can blow our wad in the 3rd max and still fill out the roster with waiver vets.

And if Kawhi or Butler come to the Lakers, might as well go the Russia route now and stop communism.
