    Cookie was impressive at handling Game Time all on her own at times. Just in there play by playing it by herself it seemed.

    Yeah. Towards the end of the season, I stopped watching games, but I'd have the game time chat open on a tablet as I did other things. I used Cookie's play by play along with the ESPN tracker to figure out what was going on.

    I kissed off the last month of the season, forgot there were even games, occasionally logged on to see us getting wiped out, said hi, and left.

    I think I'll actually have to have a reason to start watching this season. At this point I could actually walk away permanently, and I don't think I'm alone. That's pretty sad.

    If the Kawhi rumors are true, I'll have to sign up for cable again...I actually did cancel it since my only reason for having it was Laker basketball. :D

    But if we whiff on everyone, and hire some simpleton as a coach and allow another simpleton (Rambis) to continue to run things, I will be "Message Board Guy Who Looks at Box Scores and Makes Shallow Analysis."

    Hulu Live TV is pretty damn good. Sports can get a little pixelated at times because of bandwidth throttling, but it's got just about every good channel at this point, even local networks.

    My wife has her favorite channels as well. I'm assuming they are similar, but Hulu Live TV has TLC, HGTV, Lifetime, and Food Network.

    You're kidding. After our occasional go rounds with differing opinions .... my brother from another mother. :rofl:

    I no longer have major discounts and base package with SSN for Lakers is over 150 with small remaining one. So I am contemplating pairing either Hulu Live or Sling for network TV still with Netflix, Amazon, some Brit streamers and doing the VPN route with NBA TV for Lakers. Hulu has TNT as well, not sure about Sling or which mix I would want between them. But with that mix I can sell the wife and probably be under 90.

    Love DTV's signal but streaming is pretty good these days even on larger TVs.

    I felt like the last Mohican at times. I’m sorry for any other teams “doomers”. They had no absolutely no material to work with from our fans at the end there.

    The call up and whine and moan about the over 180 with still a discount included used to work but for past 8 months no dice. Now that I'm aware I can get CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox with a streaming package I would have some leverage in doing that and "oh well OK .... see ya" if not offered. A real viable option. I would miss SSN programming at times and Lakers announcers. Still comfortable with Bill and Stu.

    Stephen A said he got messages from Kyrie's family and people within an hour of the news coming out he'd consider us. They told him there's no way in hell that's happening. And Stephen A said he's going to NYC with KD, 95% chance of that happening.

    But Lakers are the only team that would take him and it not depend on another player going too.
