Interesting part of Korver's contract is that 3.5m is guaranteed next year as long as we waive him. That dead money would allow us to still go after 30% max guys like Kawhi, but would eliminate us from the KD sweepstakes.

So the fact that we didn't actively try to trade for him (no rumors linking us) kinda says something in that regard.

FYI: Dec. 15th we coulda traded Beas/Zu for Korver.

Burks isn't bad; just has been hurt. Good value for korver, imo.

Look at Cookie coming in for a "Like" to your post from somewhere on the high seas. How's that boat trip going Cook?

Trip is going well. I’ve been to every place on this intinerary many times. So I’m just chilling. Drinking, gambling and vegging out. The best kind of vacation.

Cook, what are your plans tonight? Cause Doom will be on the menu...if the next batter you serve up is a bit "watered" down, we'll understand...but you or @raviator better have the oven set.

Enjoy the rest of your trip!....but cut it short if we continue to lose (0-2 without you so far).

Some more grits to add to their grind.

And the curse of the artist formally known as Paul continues, since Ringo won't be Starring next to her anytime soon.

Seriously tho, I feel like Roberson won't be the same when he does come back. He has one more year at 10.7m remaining on his current deal and at 27, who is going to throw a bag at him? Really sucks for him and his family cause dude is really a difference maker on the defensive end.

Also, I'm sure it could affect the way they handle Wall and Beal, but if Otto gets traded into the Kings 11m cap space, then they only have to send back the expiring contracts of either Randolph or Shump along with Yogi Ferrell to make a legal trade (assuming Otto enables his 15% trade kicker making him a 29.9m cap hit). Washington effectively dumps Otto and will be able to dodge crazy luxury taxes next season when Wall's supermax kicks in (granted they haven't dealt Wall at that point).

LMAO. I've mentioned I worked many years at WBR and after Prince left us and for spite became "The Artist Formally Known As Prince" I'd just shake my head and laugh. I spent early on a little time in the art department taking care of the physical components for each cover on album and single releases. He came into our department one day (goes about 5'6") with his manager to talk to the art director who was handling a current project. A very good looking and "with it" gal who was 6'. She would ask questions, the manager would relay them to Prince (who was there  ) and he would also relay Prince's answers back to Christine. That's how the whole meeting went.

On 2-3" heels, probably. Funny story though, I can definitely see that.

Yeah thanks for sharing that LT, but I strictly intended it to be a "blouses" reference.

Paula in any other way can't compare to Prince's greatness, so don't get it twisted.

Anyways trade talks are heating up....along with Otto to Sac, Htown looks to swoop in on the action as well, which would also involve Oubre.

I was shocked Philly didn't ask him to be part of the deal for Butler. That's exactly the type of player at the 4 position that Philly needs to help space the floor for Simmons, Butler, & Embiid.

Unless Philly thinks he could eventually be bought out and they can get it that way.

Here's an idea of what the Wiz are rumored to want for Beal:

So an 11th and 12th overall pick... And some of y'all wanted to eagerly give up a 2nd overall pick for Beal.

Another guy to keep an eye on as Dec 15th approaches.

Has the same agent as Bonga...
We've had previous trade relations with BK...
BK is a great market for our current 1yr deals and is currently struggling with the team they have, so they need to start making summer noise for potential free agents next summer...
Manimal fits our MO of smashing s*** the f*** up and would be a great backup to Bron, whose minutes we want to limit, which means Manimal gets those minutes...
Allows us to play small ball some and also can spare 36 yo TyDog some PT so that he's good to go when May starts...
Also it's @TIME (see last like), so bring him to the Lakers so that he can play for the team he loves...

I'd love if we can get Ariza back. Yeah, he's a bit older, but he can still defend and shoot, and was a big part of defending the likes of Durant in the HOU/GS series last postseason. There's also DeMarre Carroll, Markieff Morris who are expiring on teams that are probably looking to get some assets back.

KCP for Ariza would be a dream.

I'm not totally all in on trading for Ariza despite loving what he is about.

I'd like Carrol and both Morris bro's as well, I think Bos still wants to get under luxury tax and dumping their Morris is key as well. He's a better 3pt shooter than Beasely and possibly a better defender as well. I do think we need a natural catch and shoot wing as well at the backup forward spot as oppose to Lance and Ariza/Carroll are much better at that aspect than lance.

I mean, we wouldn't have to give up much to get Ariza hopefully.

    KCP + 2nd? or add Beasley/Lance?

I'd like Trevor too if he was to replace KCP. That veteran 3 and D guy that we need in the finals. Does he still have it though? Or maybe he just needs to get out of Phoenix like Tyson.

34 years old, still has tread on the tires. Having him for a playoff run wouldn’t suck. But I think we already have 15 small forwards
