I would gladly pass on Iguodala. Too old, and we already are paying Deng that type of $. If we bring in PG13...even less reason to sign Iggy. Would rather wait until 2018 to spend that type of $ on a true superstar.

Deng and Mozgov will either both be stretched, or one (hopefully both) will be traded by then. Pretty confident we'll open up room somehow (Clarkson and Randle likely gone I think)

It's not hard for the Lakers to free up cash if/when they need it.

Boy can't you just see him in a Clipper jersey with Chris Paul and LeBron next year?

I think it might be a foregone conclusion. So the plan would be to resign Griffin to a max deal along with Paul, hope that DeAndre opts out, and sign Lebron, then Wade to whatever money is left over?

Paul/Wade/Lebron/Griffin gets smoked by Golden State. I'm not even sure how CP3 and Lebron would work together. Kyrie works cause he can just get the ball and immediately attack to score (he's a shooting guard in reality). CP3 needs the ball in his hands for the first 8-10 seconds of the shot clock.

If that's true, Russell, Randle, and the 28th for Zinger. Zinger, Ingram and Ball? Sign PG-13 in the offseason? So long, so versatile.

Russell and Randle aren't going anywhere as long as PG wants to play with them and so does his agent.

I don't see any way that we can get in on that conversation without giving up Russell/Randle/#2/Ingram

but this is definitely Phil's way of trying to get fired right?

Joking? That package might be worthy of Jimmy Butler, I think that's a bit much for a guy whose averages aren't much higher than Russell's.

Porzingis does nothing for me. Never has. Looks like Phil Jackson thinks the same.

Not joking. His averages are a little higher than Russell's, and he's playing in a toxic situation which Russell wasn't this season. Zinger with Ingram and Ball would allow us to do so, so much lineup wise. Ingram and Zinger as your two forwards? Two dudes with insane length and good athleticism and can shoot? I like Russell, but I overpay to get Zinger because he is the perfect player for today's NBA. You'd have Ball distributing to PG-13, Zinger and Ingram. You could go smaller and have every person on the floor able to hit from distance. I wouldn't trade Ingram or Ball for him, but everyone else is on the table.

Huh, ok, I don't personally think Porzingis is as great as many think he is, but I respect/get your line of thinking.

I actually like Porzingis alot. I would do both Russell and Randle for 'Zinger in a heartbeat. Porzingis has the skillset to excel as a 4 or 5 in Coach Walton's system. Big man who could shoot, act as a shot blocker, decent passer.

    Clarkson+Black+28 for Paul George.

    Ball/Ennis
    Ingram/Brewer
    PG/Deng
    Kristaps/Nance
    Zubac/Mozgov

Mozgov, Deng, and Brewer spots should be somehow upgraded to have...better players off the bench. However, I can understand that's much easier said than done.
