Interesting. Looks like they're more willing to stretch them next summer.

I like what Bobby Marks said: Mitch gave those two players Bug "F" "U" contracts as he was heading out the door...:Kobe Snickering:

Probably the dumping price is a bit too steep, maybe it lowers with a year less on the deals. They aren't hurting our cap this summer, deal with it next when we need to.

i don't see the need to dump them right now. the stretch waive option will be there, and teams will be more likely to take on 2 years instead of 3. if you view them as fully dead money right now, their value can only increase this year, too.

I don't imagine their value changing at all until the 2019 summer when they're expiring.

I fully expect us to waive at least Deng next summer. Mozgov might have outside trade value as a starter this year.

20mill per for 3yrs+ gets him IMO....if we could land pg , I wouldn't mind if we threw that kind of $ at him, if we're able to jettison deng, moz and brewer

If we ship out Clark and Brewer id be down.

But to start out games, assuming we keep and select someone in the lottery.. Who starts on the bench?

Yes but if he really wanted to be F U to the fans and ownership he would have traded away Ingram to Kings for Cousins and even though cousins would have helped us we ain't winging a ring or competing deep in the playoffs with him.

But yes, those contracts and decisions were terrible.

Stay in the F***** East, jeez.........

Its already been nearly a decade of the East being complete trash and giving no competition to LBJ and the Cavs

thats the best route for us IMO, after 2018 IF PG or any max lvl fa comes and Randle reups, we're capped out anyways. Those guys dead money wouldn't matter much at that point.

We don't really need the cap this year, so unless someone would just take one of them they'll both here until next year. Then maybe we can trade Mozgov and then stretch Deng, or vice versa.

It's painfully annoying that someone will be offering Andre Iguodala, Deng-level money and he will probably accept it.

The Deng signing will be as haunting to this franchise as the Steve Nash trade

That Deng signing was senseless. Mitch should never ever get an FO job again, except when Jerry West will do him a solid with the Clips.

Iguodola is older than Deng. I like him a lot but we absolutely can not risk tying up big money on an aging roleplayer.
