I don’t know about that one. If we were going to sign a lumbering big we could have with Lopez, and he averaged twice as many points, blocks shots, and could shoot threes. I guess for the minimum if zero other quality big could be signed or traded for?

Unstoppable post moves. Lock down defense. Weakside help defense.

    What’s not to like?

Are we really going to trot out McGee, Zubac and Wagner as our center rotation? Or are we planning on playing LeBron at center, flanking him with Kuzma, Ingram, KCP and Lonzo/Rondo in crunch time?

Unless Zubac has shown significant improvement (doubtful) or we're seriously considering starting or playing a rookie meaningful minutes at the 5...this is starting to make less and less sense.

I pray and hope we don't sign melo of all people and lose out on SVI...we badly need a center. Problem is...who's left?

Okafor was one of the worst players in the league last year. Let him quietly exit the league and go play in China or somewhere irrelevant.

Did you look at the footage of Zu recently from Euro tournament? Definitely faster and quicker with the 14lbs shed. And this new pic shows finally some more mature muscle on his frame.

Wonder how long we are going to hang on to this cap space and hold off on signing McGee/Stephenson.

I remember wanting him so badly and being so disappoint when we drafted Russ.

Crazy how that draft year turned out.

He can play in the GLeague if he wants...

The Process broke him. He was never the same. Inexplicable.

Look what happened to Fultz. Forgot how to shoot the ball. Simmons ... will never shoot the ball. Paranormal evil Karma loose in their organization. Burner twitter accounts.

I think it started with the draft and the Lakers taking DLO instead. I think they, DLO and Okafur, were even dressed with the expectation of going to other team between Philly and Lakers.

After that draft stunner, he got stuck in the morass known as the Process and it was over for him. His career was mishandled and I’m not so sure it was his fault.

Geezus are those rip lines all over Zu real? Good lord he looks like the Hulk next to those other soft Euro boys. Which is exactly what he looked like to me last summer after Magic's warnings to everyone about conditioning and body fat%. If so, I am really happy because that boy was showing flashes his first year of being a tremendous blocker and had a nice scoring touch. It's all very strange. It seemed like we were developing Bryant and letting this guy rot for trade fodder.
