    I don’t want Melo, but if he finally realizes he’s not a starter, and he’s more of a rolplayer on this team, I wouldn’t be mad.

    Yea, I’m starting to wonder about Mitch. Like if I were him i wouldn’t backtrack over some of the worst steps I’ve taken. Don't remind the world by having anything to do with Mosgov or Deng. Now he yields Biyombo, whatevs Mitch.

    This, finish the roster with our young shooter, get Lopez back here, and get to work. There’s no room for Melo, and there’s no playing time for Melo. If Melo takes even a minute of time away from Ingram, Kuzma, or Hart I will be pissed.

    Ok I’ve been playing devils advocate for Melo but when you guys put it like this I completely agree. We don’t have enough roster spots. If we picked Melo over Lopez or Svi, I’d be furious.

    If there was a way to trade Deng for Melo, I’d still do it, but I don’t think it’s possible. Maybe Deng, Zubac, and a pick for Melo? I think even with our $5 million in cap space that doesn’t work out within the rules to absorb Melo’s contract.

    yeah, phx had no choice but to max booker. of course, they're to blame to some extent, as they prioritized marketing him over winning games the past couple of years.

    the capela situation is interesting. can't believe no one's forcing houston's hand. anything in the 20 million range should make houston squirm. they know he isn't worth it, and morey HATES being in that spot. it would be fun.

    also, i get why capela's upset: he's been a team guy. he's improved every year. he's been told that if he's a FA next year, he'll be offered 20+ per by more than one team. but his guys show up with a 4/50. all this after morey's pimping him on twitter and houston's claiming he's an allstar and such. these are still humans.

    Raw and lacking aggression. I figure that should be resolved in a few more games as he gains confidence in what they are doing. I’ve never seen him play in college, but I will be looking to see if he has that bully in him to complement his size advantage. Or, is he a passive giant.
