I really never understood the Lance Stephenson deal. If we were interested in Tyreke, why didn’t we go after him instead? Tyreke Evans is a better Lance Stephenson without being a head case lol.

Now we are only armed with the vet minimum to offer Tyreke. It would have been better if we went the other way around and offered Tyreke the 4.5 mil and Lance the minimum

I wouldn't worry too much about Lance getting major mins. I see him as more of a safety net if there're injuries to our main players. Also, all these moves are a bit intriguing to me since it seems like the trade for Kawhi will go through either today or tomorrow with Josh Hart & Ingram being the key piece.

Considering we have Lonzo, Lebron, Ingram, Stephenson (and maybe Hart) that could run the point, i couldn't care less if we signed another backup PG. Lakers seem pretty clear they want guys that can play multiple positions. Point Guard is not a glaring need so let's just sign Randle and call it a day unless anyone wants to ring chase for the minimum.

I think we've definitely got something else we are working on.

I think Evans is a good player that we might be able to land on the cheap. Definitely worth a look.

The more I think about it, the more I think Lance IS our backup pg.

Tyreke is awesome. Simple as that. Might be redundant now, but he's a 20/5/5 player, clutch, versatile.

hindsight always 20/20 and I got nothing to complain about but offering Tyreke the room exception would have been the better play IMO.

Lance would have still likely came on vet min.

Remember, if we renounce Julius, that opens up a good 12 million. We can use that to sign Evans. Granted we will need to sign some bigs at some point.

Stephenson and Tyreke aren't mutually exclusive I'd think. There's a lot of avenues forward for us.

I just have a feeling we're going to make a trade or something. Maybe even something off the radar.

Tyreke makes his bank on the offensive side of the court. Lance makes his on D. Lance adds a bulldog who we can sick on the other team's best wing player to disrupt their rhythm and get in their head.

Tyreke was a BEAST last season. I'm not sure how we get him but if we can it would be a great move and we'd be loaded with wings.
