    Lakers were rumored to take on Faried/Arthur expirings in a salary dump to gain a Denver 1st rounder....Will the Thrill and the Joker are going to cost a whole lot of taxes for Denver if they stand pat.

    If Pacers are targeting other guys with their cap space, then they can't throw an offer at Gordon. So maybe another team steps in to throw their cap at AG instead...

    Not necessarily. There may be situations where a star player wants out, their team wants them gone due to their contract, and so we might be able to work out a trade where we absorb them into our cap space without having to give up anything substantial.
