Dude's a troll, but he's right. The market will be a s*** show....and as the 2nd leading offensive rebounder in the league, he was scared he couldn't get 19m on the open market. This should tell Mintz/Jules something.

The only way Jules gets 20m+ is if he's part of a S&T somewhere.

But at 14-16M you can remain a Laker.

@OX1947 I've said my piece,...now its on you boss haha.

Love your gif work in spite of having to bring you around from so much Julius wrongness in your thinking early in the year ....

Go to Dallas DJ .... you and Cuban deserve each other. Looking forward to the Cuban action faces with you bricking FTs in crunch time.

jordan's screwed. clippers played hardball. he should probably opt in. if he opts out, he's going to take a pay cut. dallas is saying they'll take him on his one-year, big money deal, but that requires the clips taking wes matthews, which they won't.

mavs are like: ok. we'll just sit on a big pile of cash and maybe offer you some of it later this summer, k, bro?

Somehow I don't think DJ, a guy that let himself be held hostage almost literally and then persuaded to go back on his word to Cuban a couple summers ago, fits the "character" and "culture" and "intelligence" parameters that Magic and Rob are looking for without exception.

I wasn't wrong tho....Jules won't get anywhere near 20M to remain a Laker...he isn't a rim protector and had worse defensive stats than Nance...he ain't an allstar, hasn't led us anywhere and shouldn't be paid like he has done something...he's ain't worth shi.....oops, went on my Ox tilt again.

Seriously tho, I want Jules here, but at the right price and not as some part of a big 3. He's a great piece to compliment stars, but till otherwise he just quite isn't one yet. But dude has tons of potential and talent, so of course I would love to keep him and if he is dealt away, notice how I continuously use him to bring in Kawhi freaking LAonard. See, that's how highly I think of Jules.

carlisle likes a lob threat over a passing big man (though he can work with either), hence the noel gambit there and why they have dwight powell play minutes at the 5.

the lakers under walton probably would prefer a shooter/passer at that spot, hence drafting wagner (and potentially keeping lopez), and playing randle at 5.

Lebron signs in LA, I do not see how Randle is used. Unless he is off the bench to spell Lebron. Lebron and Randle on the floor won't work. Randle can't shoot and he can' guard legit centers.

Yeah I know. I'll let go of him and him only of the most talented young players excluding Hart too .... plus pieces and newly drafted players to land Kawhi. Save the picks, a bunch of them, for the team that takes Deng. SA has no leverage left.

ideal 4th dude that doesn't need plays run for him to be effective if his ego will allow it

Unfortunately, I think he has the Dwight Howard complex as far as his offense goes. He thinks he's better than he is with his limited moves, but to be fair, he does seem to have improved more than Dwight has. But of course he doesn't have the same level of post defense presence either. switching D blah blah blah, not 20 mil, agreed.

This was expected and the Pacers can still get up to 22m in cap space, but they supposedly are targeting Gordon.

Again, more cap is getting taken up...

Why not? Bron found his range and jumper and is using it way more than before. Jules fights for rebounds and is a "paint machine". They can co-exist just fine.

I'd say Tristan Thompson did pretty well with Lebron and Randle is leaps and bounds better than he is. Remember during the finals how many times Mark Jackson or JVG would say if only the Cavs had someone in the front court who could run to the rim, seal his man and punish the Warriors giving CLE another option offensively. Tristan wouldn't do this consistently.

Randle does this in spades with his bruising ability. Oh and he can rebound and push the ball to score or find open teammates on cuts to the basket.

    f***!

This better not happen. Dallas better use their cap to sign DJ. If they move off Matthews to get him, they'll be in play for Jules.

Another way to look at this is if there are next to no suitors for Jules, we can exclusively negotiate a S&T with him for Kawhi or talk new contract construct to stay with the Lakers without being bothered by offer sheets and having to match them.
