    I'm not denying that Julius is more dynamic, but how useful is that to us going forward? I don't know. It really depends on who we get in FA. Again, I just didn't like you selling another player short. The kid played really, really well this season and deserves some respect for it.

    If you get LeBron and George, Randle's strengths become redundant and weaknesses become a big problem and a Capela type makes more sense. If you don't land LeBron, then Randle makes more sense for us and a Capela type is less valuable.

    In my scenario, the big signings are PG and Randle. I'm not selling Capela short. I just don't agree that his value is 140% of Randle, who deserves more respect as well imo.

    I agree with your take on redundancy but PG/LeBron/Capela would be like signing 3 max contracts according to your projections, right? Lebron isn't coming without George, and Julius is a great fit with George. So there's no real scenario where Capela would be part of our plans.

    Vegas odds makers just moved US up from 20/1 to 14/1 to win the championship.

    Oh I very much doubt Capela is a part of our plan. I think it's more likely DeAndre Jordan is a part of our plan, but even that I'm not exactly saying is likely. It'd be really difficult for the Lakers to get to Capela.

    The only way I bid on him is if LeBron goes to Houston. Put them in a position to either lose a valuable piece or pay a ridiculous amount. Of course, I think Capela gets maxed out by somebody (the hot rumor is Phoenix although they're nearly a lock to draft Ayton) so it's all sort of moot.

    Playing Devil's advocate for a second (well been playing it for a minute vs the Bron haters)...

    Philly has 6 picks in this draft. They have 25M in cap and if they use some picks to shed Bayless, they can get up to 33M in cap space.

    Kawhi to Philly makes alot of sense to me for everybody involved. Kawhi's personal doc is Philly-based. Monty, was part of Spurs bball ops, just joined the Sixers bench. Philly is a bigger market for Kawhi's people to sell their shoes in. Spurs would rather Kawhi go east than stay in the west. Brett Brown is a star appeaser...just check out the s*** he lets Embiid get away with. Kawhi wont have to deal with Pop's demanding ways there.

    Trading for Kawhi and then using the cap on Bron to get him his near max. Yeah, I can process that.

    I hope Philly has a power play here, otherwise the cbags rule the east if Bron heads west.

    Covington, #10, Fultz, Bayless, Simmons for Kawhi to pair with Bron/Embiid.
