Yeah, that's my fantasy. Reality is the LBJ is coming after PG signs, and Kawhi next year. I was just wanting Kyrie over LLLLL.

Here's a little insight as to why Kawhi might want out of SA:

But if SA offers the supermax then it's all but over for any of these Kawhi rumors...Until the ink dries and he demands a trade.

Also seems like Miami is angling towards a Whiteside trade in that they bring back more bodies than they send out.

Yeah... they’re not wrong about the look in the mirror thing. Kahwi is one of the best players in the league, but he’s got about as much public personality as a potato. I don’t recall if Tim Duncan even had a show deal, as good as he was, that’s just how it goes. The other stars of the league either have carefully crafted images to make up for maybe some lack of natural interesting personality (Anthony Davis, Harden, LeBron), or are more outspoken or play the game in a flashier way, do things outside of basketball (Curry, Durant, Westbrook, Lillard). If I bought players’ shoes or gear, I certainly wouldn’t be jumping to Kawhi first, because unfair or not, I’d be picturing to be as bland as he is, same as I’d be picturing a Tim Duncan shoe to look like a “dad shoe”.

This team is so beautifully stacked that you totally forgot we signed PG in 2018 in your scenario. :Magic2:

I don't trust a broken Kawhi anyway. I need to know this guy is healed up.

Ok, I’ll try again with PG.

    C - Randle / Bryant
    PF - Ingram / Kuz
    SF - Kawhi / Kuz
    SG - PG / Hart
    PG - Kyrie / Lonzo

In my preferred scenario we kick LeBron to the curb and get Kyrie instead.

seems a waste to have both Kyrie and Lonzo, but if both are only available half the year, maybe it makes sense.

Kyrie is more of a scoring PG than he is a passing PG. I think he would fit great next to Lonzo. Kyrie guards the smaller guards and Lonzo takes the bigger one. Kyrie would give us a true go to finisher.

I would put my money in Kawhi ending up on he clippers before the Lakers.

Of the youth core, to me Zo seems most likely to not be here long term.

I don’t see why Klay would leave GS next year unless they “can’t afford” to pay him max given their superstar lineup. Only in that case could I see the Lakers getting him next year.

I still don’t see LeBron ending up here nor Kyrie for that matter.
