He and his camp could be using us to leverage SA. That makes a whole lot of sense.

But again I rather we choose between Kawhi or George. Bringing in both and just standing pat doesn't make much sense to me.

No..... Not the thug Noel who or whose posse threatened the life of the owner of the house they rented and trashed his rookie year .... involved in something like this?

I know its a slippery slope, but the occasional toke for chronic pain is something all professional athletes should look into. You got abusers with everything from booze to OTC meds....so occasionally lighting up to take the edge off those aches and pains is something I thought our woke league would embrace by now.

I'm sure this was the exact situation with Noel. Definitely chronic pain. Definitely not taking it to get high. Noel is a very bright man with a fantastic future ahead of him.

Well Nerlens is definitely a surprise. I don't know him, but everything about him indicated he was about No Ls. He needs to get on the phone with Metta and address that misnomer.

    Yep!

The most any team can offer him in 2019 free agency is 4years $140M. However SA can offer around $190M over 5 years. Also if a team trades for Kawhi and attains his bird rights, they can offer that same 5y/190M amount.

This summer tho, SA can offer about $220M over 5 years in a super max extension. They're the only team that can offer this to him trade or not. Kawhi is also eligible for a super max, by only the Spurs, for the 2019 summer if he makes 1 of the All-NBA teams, DPoY or MVP next season.

It will say alot about his intentions if he rejects a supermax extension this summer.

Why does every rumor have Josh Hart being traded. Every trade scenario, toss in possibly our best defender and a versatile rookie. I hate this thread right now. People here whining about players missing games and best ability being availability, and Leonard just missed an entire season. I don’t remember Ingram missing an entire season yet.

Maybe the situation is that moving to a market like LA nets him more cash overall from Nike/Jordan to make up for our inability to offer a true supermax.

There was a post about trading BI for Kawhi while signing George and LBJ. I would be fine with that but can’t envision a way that works out salary cap wise.

Man, Ingram has played 59 games this season. Leonard has played NINE. Would I trade for a star like Leonard if I know he’s health and he just wants out of SA, hell yes I would, but people here complaining about our players being soft or injury prone this year and then wanting to trade for Leonard or even re-sign IT have me like

    :Randallconfused:
