Yeah but I imagine they'd want to be lottery protected just in case. We'll find out soon I'm sure.

With every done deal you know Altman is screaming out Kooo-be. Leave it up young buck, that's a hell of a haul.

However, JR and TT are still on the roster. You got something left for the 4th quarter?

That's the rundown so far. Throw in that the Cavs lost their 2018 pick to the Lakers and a 2020 (year?) 2nd rounder to Sacramento.

This is a REBUILD. That team is preparing for LeBron's departure with LeBron still on the team. This is a gangster move by Koby Altman.

^...watch James pull a U-Turn and stay. Wouldn't surprise me. The East is still the East.

I think LeBron is gone, too, but I like what Cleveland did as a whole. I think it will move the needle, but not my much; definitely not too entice LeBron to stay, that's for sure. IMO.

Oh, and Love is still out, right? For another 6 weeks or so; forgot about him.

I think that's better than what they had before post Kyrie. Got the most important piece there in George Hill. Damn great job by Koby

Looks like Kyrie's trade demand started the avalanche. Kyrie for JC and Nance...

    Yeah Love is still out.

These were all VERY good moves by the Cavs. The "Lakers killed the Cavs" narrative isn't true, it was just surprising to see the Cavs make the move that would open LeBron to leaving. However, their subsequent moves really painted the picture: the Cavs are preparing for life after LeBron. These young kids are going to learn the new system and lead LeBron to the promise land? They might be able to help, but they're not winning much. I don't think the Cavs are better than the Raptors, let alone the C Bags or the Warriors or the Rockets.

They'll get shooting, some defense, play-making, athleticism, but still lack rim protection.

I think the C Bags are overrated, bud. The scream "regular season" to me. I think Toronto is the best team in the East; but I get what your saying, and I agree.

We're all in for LeBron here; well, at least "we" are. Don't know about the rest of the site. :)

To be honest, I'd like to see Cleveland in The Finals for Clarkson and Nance. If not, Toronto would be great. DEFINITELY not the one with the asterisks.

The Lakers-Cavs trade is what started the domino effect, cause it seems like the Cavs had the 3 team deal trade and Wade to Miami already in the bag.

So the sticking point was definitely the 1st round pick and when the Cavs relented, the deal was done and then the flood gates opened up.

Big ups to Rob for extracting that pick.
