love that the lakers are interested in something that isn't cap space. but i don't love chriss, and i wonder what would have to be going out in order to get him. feel like phx would want one of our young players, and i'm not sure who i'd give up for chriss. none of them?

    Deng/Zubac for Chriss/Chandler works.

my prediction they ask for nance n 1st or several 2nds.... this chriss fella reminds me of a hybrid of stromile swift/tyrus thomas....athletic big but dumb as a rock when it comes to playing winning bball

They can ask for all that and everyone in the league will laugh them off the phone. They'll be lucky to recoup a late 1st for Chriss. He's exactly what you said and that makes him nearly worthless. He's less valuable to me than Nance and gets paid twice as much as him. Why would we trade for him?

The only thing that would sort of make sense is if we dumped salary on them to do this, but I wouldn't trade Randle or Clarkson for him. We've got so many PF/Cs as it is, I don't see the attraction.

Hoping this is Steve Kyler using the word "Lakers" for page hits/retweets. Chriss is pointless for us.

i fear it's randle or clarkson that would be outgoing. both would be fairly cap neutral or even cap friendly.

the stromile/tyrus comps are there, but he also reminds me a little of shawne williams. all the talent, none of the brains.

That would be either a horrifying move or a confident one. Probably both.

If they sent Clarkson for Chriss/1st round pick I guess I wouldn't be upset.

If we sent Randle for Chriss/unprotected Phoenix 1st... I mean I'm listening but we'd suffer some losses out of this and it would be tough seeing Randle in a division rival uniform.

A PG-PF swap works. Deng & Ennis for Chriss & Knight.

Swapping Deng and Ty Chandler is a huge win for us. So that would mean Chriss is the throw in for value that we send out. I'm assuming its JC and we're angling for a pick. Suns currently are projected to have 5, 17 in 1st round and 35, 41, 52 and 57 in the 2nd.

JC stays out west and the girls are a plenty in the land of the Sun...so he's happy. Plus not too long of a commute back to the LA area, in terms of keeping his LA home as he rides out his contract there.

    Chandler/Chriss for Deng/Nance? I wouldn't mind that.

this is good to me, there's no way Pho is including a 1st our way....Chris was a recent lotto pick, they're not gona pay to dump him, there's always gona be a gm out there who thinks they'll be able to tap into Chriss potential, he's same age as Ingram I think

I don't think Phoenix would include a pick. It may be the same reason we moved D'Angelo. Chemistry. Also, I think they're going to be invested with Bender at PF than Chriss.

Neither would I, but I highly doubt it happens. The chasm of sucktitude between Tyson and Dengs deals is far larger than the gap between Chriss and Nance.

I guess we saw Chriss’s polished game and awesome free throw shooting up close and decided we had to have him? Weird name to pop up honestly.
