Yes. But you don't do a wink wink deal like that after watching what happened to Cousins.

just depends on trust factor between jr camp n rob/magic, if they are man of their words jr could accept that offer if rob let him know hed get that $ even if he gets hurt but yea its far fetched n would depend on jr love for the team

If I'm Randle, I'm not doing anything even close to that. In fact Randle can blow up this plan by signing an offer-sheet for the max early in the process. Luckily there's the moratorium where we'll have a chance to talk to FAs before contracts are signed. We should know early on if we're in the running and how important Julius is to any prospective FAs by then.

Pretty good review for what's currently going on right now in the NBA trade front with the deadline just around the corner.

George Hill has a pretty hefty contract and it looks like he wants every penny of it. Windhorst also mentions that the Cavs recent lineups changes and Frye's return to the rotation have played a part in the decision to put the deal on hold, for now.

seems like the lebron aspect of the contigency is the reporter's speculation. you can't write that in--or at least i've never seen something like it. they probably want hill to simply decline the player option to which he'd reply: i could have just signed somewhere non-s***ty for that!

Yeah but that's not my point. Trading for George with the contingency that he'll agree to a buyout in the future seems weird to me, no? At least it seems to me the kind of thing that nobody would confirm.

With all the trade talk that surrounded Deandre Jordan, was it a high possibility that he's opting out of his Player Option?

I wonder what his availability is, or if he would be a potential target next summer if he does opt out.

George/Lebron and DeAndre? I'll take that.

Wow. CP2 was I guess already in the works when Jerry West signed on, or he would have OK'd? And it was after that, right, that Biff got his huge contract? Wonder why he OK'd all that if they are now open to moving the guy?

At least we'd only have to see Ol' Ginger twice a year now.
