If I'm not mistaken, Bryant and Zubac are neither one guaranteed.

I think Randle is less valuable to us than Clarkson at this point (Randle is admittedly a better player) because we have Nance and Kuzma who can man the pf spot for a combined 4 million. If we are getting both Cousins AND PG-13, I'd rather keep Clarkson so we have a guard who can score off the bench.

Neither are guaranteed, but I'd hope that either could be traded instead of just outright cut. They're too talented to not get some return on investment, even if it's just another 2nd round pick.

bryant has played, what, a single nba minute or something? and zubac looks to have forgotten how to play basketball. you couldn't get a high second for either right now, imo.

both could be throw-ins on larger deals (like if randle or JC was moved) to make it look more respectable, though.

That was my point originally if you read the first post and my point still stands. Rather get value if I can. If I cant I can still cut either of them.

I'm seeing value for Zu again as a Laker. If they keep working with him and he pulls a semi-Randle this summer getting stronger and even quicker than he was tonight which was maybe the quickest he's ever moved his feet on D and trying to close out .... that he might be a good true Big man to still keep around. I bet a lot more productive than 3 point shooting Lopez has been. If we dump him I have no doubt now he's going to have a decent to good career on another team.

we signed Lopez and the australian croat dude instead of developing Zu. I'm starting to think they don't see him fitting the future well, or why isn't he playing?

he's really green, and the team (despite some appearances) is trying to win games.

It's stupid that we wasted Zu. He was playing really well towards the end of last season...why not build on that? He basically has 0 value in trades now, and 0 value to us. Just typical of us...trying to get Lopez and Bogut and then we still end up losing. Ugh

I like him. I liked him before the draft too.

I viewed him as a great potential 3 & D threat, but he stayed in school a year or two too long and when I saw him after their deep NCAA tourney run he looked a lot slower. I haven't seen him in the G-League. Hopefully he's looked a bit more spry. If not, he looks like a stretch four. He might be an Earl Clark if you guys remember 2012 when Earl Clark looked great for that stretch.

Nice! I've been watching him since Wisconsin made that NCAA run with Kaminsky in 2015 and have been intrigued with his potential.

He can shoot, got a huge 7'3 wingspan, and good strength.

Maybe looking for PF depth when we trade Randle or Nance in the next couple weeks.

Not a bad guy at all to take a chance on, he improved his game every year at Wisconsin. Versatile, can shoot better now, and from what I remember in college was very good at finishing up and under layups.

those outlet passes would fit right in with what we do.

    Looks pretty skilled.

I'm thinking this has to do with a potential trade too.
