We have a better record than the OKC Thunder right now.

In fact we're tied for the 8th seed. We happen to be in 11th because we lost to a couple of those teams, but still... progress.

I think 10 games is enough. Let's just end the season now and go into the playoffs. Sure we don't make it, but we finish with a better record than OKC and Cleveland. Those two would be crazy not to join the Lakers, right?

Could we please the subtitle "Russ, you're dead to us"

It was a genuinely funny line, but I think it would be nice to move on, as he is no longer part of our free agency discussion.

Besides we have the DLO thread, the Kuzma thread, the Magic thread, the soon to be constructed Trodgers stay thread, the whine (wine) moan and complain thread, as well as the other team and funny tweets threads to resolve our issues with DLO

Moving on, DLO is a player I feel no anger for (even mock anger like in the thread) and can enjoy him despite being one of the plethora of what might have beens that trades generate.

    I'm 99.9999% sure it's referring to Westbrook.

Well some people just can't detect sarcasm! :Fishwink::Fishwink::Fishwink:

JUST KIDDING. I messed up. Sorry to stir the hornets nest when there are no hornets (Charlotte or otherwise)

I must have too much ice in my veins. I completely forgot this was a Westbrook nod.

Pretty sure we wont get Westbrook so could we wipe the title anyway?

Definitely pleased to hear there is a market for Deng. No way do I trade Kuzma though.

I’m not trading Ingram or Kuz. I would think about Randle if we are getting 2 stars and need the cap room for next year.

That market would try to gouge us. I want to dump Dung as much as the next person, but I’m definitely not giving up Kuz or BI. I’m still torn on even using Randle just to dump Deng, but I get it.

I would trade Deng for a bad contract that's not as restrictive as his. Honestly it just feels great knowing there's an option out of his deal.

Ideally he accepts a buy out where he gives up a significant amount of money. For those asking we'd still have to pay him like he'd been stretched, but hopefully for less than the 7+ million he's owed currently. That's my understanding anyway.

i've been thinking about the second tweet for a while. taking on a smaller bad deal is like stretching deng, but you still have a chance to move that one later on. look for miles plumlee type guys being offered along with expirings for deng and a heavily protected future first. or something like that.

What he said. Errrr ..... what you said. At this point with what Julius is showing he is capable of being (let alone he's not being given enough or rather any minutes to be that at the 4 as well where he may dominate, in addition to only the 5) that is too much IMO with any of them to dump Luol's sorry a** Let alone 2 of them. Find another way. See abeer and realdeal above.

If Deng accepts a buy out and gets picked up and paid X amount by another team, does that amount get credited off the amount we still owe him?
