Damn if the rockets get Melo

    Cp
    Harden
    Ariza
    Melo
    Clint

That's a old team minus Clint and Harden so there are concerns with age but that team if healthy going into the playoffs can give the warriors a run for their money

This is getting funny in Houston with the salaries and stuff they have committed and are potentially committing to.

It looks like they are going all in right now, and will blow in their faces later if injuries happen..

And they still aren't going to win anything (If GS is healthy), but I applaud the GM and the Owner for putting together a roster that could contend because you never know what could happen.

Incidentally the Rockets are also introducing two new rules: extra points for flopping and the introduction of two more basketballs during the game.

Brooklyn has to wait until Porter is officially signed before they get their cap space back. It doesn't happen the instant the other team matches the offer, and I read it could take as late as Wednesday for the Nets to regain their cap space so they can make an offer to KCP.

I also heard the same on the radio today about the Nets-Porter situation, and the speculation is KCP is waiting to see what the Nets offer him before taking any one year deal by the Lakers. IMO, that means KCP is likely gone in a day or two once he gets that big offer from Brookyln that the Lakers cannot beat.

anthony in houston? perfect fit. they'll play him at the 4; it will be just like team usa, imo. they'll be a bad defensive team again, but they'll be the #1 offense in the league.

i just can't believe some sucker is going to take ryan anderson to make it happen.

eh, at least hardaway should be a useful rotation player for the life of his contract. noah was coming off a bad year with troubling injury history when he signed an even bigger deal. the noah deal is worse than mozdeng.

Their fans were talking about it too. It's just sort of out there as talk, no real rumors that I've seen.

Someone suggested Deng and a 2nd! Man! Those Bulls fans must have some fond memories...

I'd do Deng and a future 1st without hesitation. Top 3-5 protected maybe... but if they pressed for completely unprotected I might do it if I had confidence in the George/LeBron thing. I mean really if it was that easy to do it, I'd do it without hesitation right effing now.
