I tried to avoid getting swept up in the FA madness, so I have been relatively quiet for the past week or so. But I have to say, I am a bit disappointed in the lack of roster changes during this time. To an extent, we are throwing our young guys to the wolves by not adding some more pieces around them -- although some might argue it will catalyze their development.

I understand it was a tough sell and that the FO did their utmost throughout this process, but I am still hoping we can get some additional support before the season starts.

Aside from that, he's not going to have much spacing to work with, IMO. Sucks. I hope some of the recently drafted rookies can shoot.

we'll just have to see if any of the current guys improves in that area, I hope Ingram is more in the 35-37% range along with JC. Kuz/Hart if they get PT would need to be at least 34-35% range to be of any value on the court. I think Lopez should help alot, we might not have elite shooters but with more motion offense and balance between Lopez/Randle we can still clean up misses inside as Lopez should pull opposing C away from the basket making it easier for offensive rebs as well.

careful, real: that's pritchard mentality. accept that hayward is gone--what's better? two more years of cheap jae crowder, or playing the FA market as the utah jazz? i'm guessing it will be second round picks.

Not the point and Brewer is just an example. The point is Boston wants more than Hayward and they are the ones who are stuck here, not me. Let them give up a pick and Crowder somewhere because nobody else in the NBA is doing them a favor. I'm asking for Crowder straight-up. If Ainge wants a pick back for Crowder, he can jump in a lake. I'm good. I'll find a wing elsewhere.

Hope so. We need a couple of good surprises. I think Hart will be one of them...

Ainge was a weasel as a player and now a weasel as a GM. Some thing's never change

It won't be me. I can find someone else that approximates value of Crowder to my team. I'm going to be crappy! My pick is useful. I can probably get a better wing with it than Crowder.

I recently had a fever dream that Paul George had forced the OKC trade so he could recruit Wesbrook Undercover Brother style to the Lakers.

Both of them leave together to join the Lakers. It works out splendidly but we default our two Oklahoma games so our new stars aren't assassinated. Oh and a dancing alligator plays for us (that may be a zero percent body fat Julius Randle)

If one more person co-signs this fever dream, then it will legitimately qualify as one of Chris Broussard's "various sources."
