We really need guard help. Right now our rotation is Lonzo and Clarkson as starters with Hart and Nwaba off the bench. We MIGHT resign Ennis. I mean, that's dicey as hell.

Monta looked pretty bad last year. He has slowed down a lot and his game was based on speed. At this point though,
    I'd take em !

I'd take Bradley or even Smart but they're probably asking for too much.

Yeah Ainge is dumb enough to ask for picks back. Hopefully the NBA is smart enough to tell him he better attach a pick. I'm not taking on guys to help you get better AND giving up picks. If you want Hayward, give me a pick and a decent player. I'll take Smart and a low 1st to help you get a guy.

if i'm a capped out team, i give up a pick to have those guys (particularly bradley and crowder) under contract with bird rights. but they'll need a third team to facilitate...who should steal that pick. that could be us!

Ainge thinks to win the NBA you need to get to 30 picks on hand.

I wouldn't mind helping them at all. I'd love to take a player and a pick back from them, I'm just not about to give them an asset when they're the ones who need help. I hope the rest of the NBA is on the same page, that's all. Boston is up a creek! Don't bail them out with a paddle!

Any teams that need to hit the floor that might be open to taking Brewer?

I'd rather have Brewer for this upcoming season. He was a really good energy guy for us, but also a good mentor and leader for the young guys. He was everything that Deng was supposed to be.

I'm just sitting over here trying to figure a way to get Crowder on this team because I really like that guy.

It would be perfect if it was any other team, don't see C Bags sending anyone our way.

eh, the nba only colludes against one team. i prayed teams would mess with houston over the past few years, but everyone always just obliges. even us. we took lin so they could make the bosh offer.

someone will pony up a pick, but i do think it will be a team over the cap, which means the pick probably goes to a third party under the cap. just speculating.

if ainge squeezes a first rounder out of a team with space to accept a dump, that person needs to take a long look in the mirror.

No need for the C Bags to do it, but they need to clear space anyway. If there's no one willing to offer a pick to help them, then Boston can just send those guys to Utah anyway and avoid adding a pick to move a guy they're going to lose anyway.

yeah, again, makes sense on both sides. i'm not bummed about missing out on waiters, and i think we were just leverage in this one.

i'm more bummed about hill, but that made sense for both sides, too. i just thought he'd be great here for a year; make us watchable again.

still, lots of interesting folks out there. i don't think the lakers will just sit on all 17 million.
