Man, eff the Blazers and eff George Hill who woulda been a stop gap and honestly take away from Clarkson and even Hart/Dozier(freaky length/athleticism,old school player). I still like Brewer.

I bet you money if you put Ingram on CJ McC does he get 20 points? Put Brewer on Lillard and does he get more than 25 on us?

I like Marcus smart, we should try to get him, he's on a cheap deal and, still young. Plays hard defense while an improvement in his shooting every year. Offer a 2nd round pick since they like hoarding picks lol

Otto is a nice piece; while not Hayward, he isn't a bad player. They'll need to give him the max, though.

I think Olynyk would be a great fit, but we have a crowded front court and he's probably not worth the long term salary we'd have to invest

Was thinking the same. We can always red shirt Hart/Kuzma/Bryant.

Other part of me wants to give Hart/Kuzma 10 min a game.

Settle down there buddy. I'm hopeful we can make the playoffs. I think Ingram has a great shot at becoming a great defensive stopper with his incredible length

The west is just too tough this year. It's gonna take close to 50 wins to get into the playoffs.

GSW, Spurs, OKC and Rockets are probably all locks

Wolves, Nuggets, Jazz, Pelicans, Blazers, Clippers and Grizzlies are fighting for the other 4 seeds

Kings, Mavs, Lakers, Suns are at the bottom of the pack

It's gonna be tough because every team from 5-11th seed is convincly better than us, and usually has the better two players in the matchup against us.

Because of what we're offering contract-wise, we're either gonna sign young guys with potential, or older vets past their prime. I don't like Rondo either, but at this point beggars can't be choosers. He's by far the best guard available in our price range. The market is extremely depleted as far as guards are concerned.

The west is at an all time peak of competition and player skill, even depth.

I just think we got a punchers chance to start fast and see what happens. Whats most important to me is player development and whatever veteran(s) wanna step up and show the young guys had to it for a nice story/season.

Laying the foundation here yall. Remember blowing out the warriors last year lol.

I don't think we're beggars though. We have an apparent franchise PG. It's not like we need to go out and spend on a big name back-up PG just for the sake of spending.

I cant help but think signing Rondo would be helpful to any degree for Lonzos future? Learn everything inside out from Lonzo. Maybe have Rondo G it up with Lonzo, Magic plays the confident/smart uncle advisor role for Lonzo?

I'm just going by reports, man. They think Rondo will be a good mentor: practicing with, going over film, reading defensive coverages and how to adjust, etc. That's my guess.

And Sure, Magic can play that role for Lonzo. I don't see that as an issue.

I'd LOVE to have Smart. He's the perfect guard to come off the bench. Only problem is he's due money at the same time as Randle. But he's the kind of guy that can pair with Clarkson on the second unit and play behind Lonzo and whoever we get to play next to Lonzo. Imagine a starting five of Lonzo/Rondo/Ingram/Randle/Lopez with Smart/Clarkson/DENG (emphasis added to highlight sucktitude)/Nance/Zubac. I mean, we're running 9 deep with Deng counting as two human beings, but 1/2 a player.

CJ is a stud! That guy might be even better than lillard if he had his own team. He shoots just as good, but he runs the team better.

And even if he isn't better, lillard is an all star in this league. Destructive kind of offensive player that adds (I would guess) 10-12 wins with his play. This is a backcourt who can score 50 points a night pretty consistently. Ingram and Brewer might slow them down but no one is stopping them getting theirs.

For me the scary thing is I expect them to end up 8th to 10th this year! Fighting against Gasol/Conley and Griffin/DJ/Gallo and Cousins/AD/Jrue.

We're just way too young, two 20 year olds leading a whole team of youngins with Brook Lopez as our best player. Even if Deng turns back the clock 10 years we won't be sniffing the playoffs.

We don't have any league average shooters on this team. Shoot me.

Marcus Smart will vastly upgrade our perimeter defense, but we really need to upgrade the spacing on this team if we make that move.
