    FYI - Popovich calls Hill his "son". He hated trading him for Kawahi on draft night.

    Additionally, Hayward loved playing w/him in Utah.

    Not only is he a nice 2-way player, he is a true professional who will add wins to this team if acquired.

    Yeah, I'm excited about this; only concern is a lingering toe issue; it caused him to miss games last year; other than that, I have no issues.

    Hill would be a fool to come to LA, honestly. He's 32, and his great seasons are likely behind him. He's not going to play into another big contract. He needs to cash in this year. And he's probably worth 3 years, $45M in this climate.

    I really am trying to NOT get too excited about this because i've seen this song and dance too many times last few years...

    X player that we didn't think we'd have a chance at gives us a meeting only to sign with a playoff team and get extra $/ years out of them because he used the lakers meeting as "leverage".
