    If we get Collison, I'm totally fine with this. We get a much needed upgrade without giving up on anyone.

    What's wrong with signing IT for free?

    I can see not wanting to trade for him, but if Collison doesn't want to play... he'd be a good offensive sparkplug

    I really hope we get Collison. We need him. Hopefully we reach out to him and make it happen. He's the guy we have most needed for a while.

    The Clippers will not be keeping Isaiah Thomas, acquired today from Washington in three-team deal with Knicks that brought Marcus Morris to LA and send Moe Harkless/picks to NYC, per league source.

    I'd go for Collison for sure, but I have nothing against IT either. We can use those guys. IT shoots over 40% for 3. But if anyone thinks we should've given up Kuzma+Green for some marginal upgrade - if that - I honestly don't know what to say. How about just no?

    I’m saying that to say the clippers now can get him and have a extra roster spot. I just hope his preferred destination is the lakers like it’s being reported.

    I mean.... he didn't really do much for them in the time he was there? Guy is capable of putting up 20/20 with a bunch of defensive stats but the team just doesn't win. Part of it is management but still. BUT I do think they should have been able to get a better return than what they did, I feel like thats the embarrassing part.

    Sometimes the best move is no move at all and I'm firmly in that camp with regards to this trade deadline. There was no compelling trade out there for us that I feel could have clearly improved our team. I'm hoping for Collison but I would take IT if he won't come out of retirement.

    The Clips trading Harkless for Morris wasn’t an upgrade. Panic buy and lateral move at best. I’ll take Evan Turner on a buyout in a heartbeat.

    Come on, Morris is a top 5 point shooter this year. Of course he’s an upgrade.

    Would we want him on this team? Hell yeah. Would we have traded Kuz and DG for him? Hell no.

    So am I supposed to be mad the Clippers got Morris? Because I’m not. Our price is Kuz and Green and who knows what else, Lakers tax, and the Clippers price is Harkless and 2 players I’ve literally never heard of? Yeah sounds about right, meh. Good lord no to JR Smith though, he literally cost his team an NBA finals game because he’s stupid.

    Wow... The amount of people who think marcus Morris is a chump are in denial. Clippers got stronger with him, period. Don't be in denial and face the truth. Lou Williams, Montrezl, Lou, Beverley, PG, Kawhi... I hate to say it but LeBron has a lot to overcome here in that position. They can switch five different players on LeBron and five of them are very good scorers.

    Morris is good, but yeah, no thanks if this is the deal. Nobody said the Clippers didn’t get better, they likely did, but I’m glad we didn’t make that move.
