typical d'antoni move. He always finds a way to screw himself. He's so good at it, he should just be a porn star.

I think Atlanta won this one. They were pushing hard to get one of the available talented centers. They can't lure anyone there with their free agent money, so why not use some of that now. Good fit with Trey and Collins. They should be good next year.

Rockets got their wing and now Memphis has one less option for Iggy. Good get for them, doesn't get them any closer to either LA team. I think Covington became very overrated in the past 3-4 weeks and his asking price became insane.

Too soon to tell with Minny. If they can flip that this summer for D-Lo, then that's something.

    Denver. Meh.

Hou also gets Jordan Bell and a 2nd

So Minny just got a 1st and Malik (will be a FA or do QO) basically for RoCo?

    I thought they wanted 2 1sts..

RoCo isn't big enough for Bron and likely not even Kawhi

    RoCo weighs 209 on espn

Tucker weighs 245 apparently...idk how accurate that is, but tucker is much stronger

Looking at it, interesting move by Hou, but Capela and a 1st is a lot. I thought Capela and 1-2 2nds would even be fair. They did get Bell and a 2nd though

    Russ, Harden, RoCo, Tucker, Bell
    Rivers, Mclemore, Gordon, House, Tyson

They can use a big pf or a C either from another deal or buyout.

Markieff for salary filler and 1-2 2nds makes sense tbh. Or get a cheap C

Kinda like it for Hou, but not too sure

I feel like we could have competed with Kuzma (getting a 1st) and 1-2 2nds

They are 10-1 without him this year already

Bell is a bit thin to be a replacement, but he can be a small ball 5 that is longer than tucker

I think they get lucky and end up with a buyout 5 like Biyombo or go for a big like Len maybe?

Yeah two of our stengths are two of our weaknesses :

    - Lakers FO may be hesitant to disrupt our team chemistry , even more after Kobe's death
    - Vogel is getting along with the players very well and it's probably the reason he doesn't want to solve the Rondo problem .

Decent trade for Houston if they can avoid us, Denver or Utah in the playoffs. Hawks find a big to pair with Collins and their shooters.

Don’t really think the needles moves any for Minny and Denver. Just procedural moves.

The Rockets were 10 and 1 this season without Capela.

I was mystified at first as well, but maybe their analytics team calculated that the Clippers were more of a threat than we were.

It will be interesting how this works.

ETA: I just saw someone above already pointed this out and it was 10 - 1, not 9 - 1.

If Houston doesn't snag a big via the buyout market, they will roll with Tucker and Chandler at C. AD, McGee, and Dwight would each get a minimum of 20 & 10 EACH.

I don't get their endgame with regard to the Bucks.

If they somehow manage to get through the West by getting the optimal matchups... what are they going to do with Giannis and the Lopez brothers?

I suppose if the Pelicans could almost beat them without a real center then maybe it can be done.

Here are the 6 players I wouldn't trade ( unless 2 of them not named Bron and AD would yield a very good player) :

    Bron , AD , Green , KCP , Caruso and Howard .

    Who are your "untouchables" ?

I wouldn't trade Boogie either. If he ended up on the Clippers or Pelicans next year it wouldn't be good for us.

I better not see AD taking those 15 foot fadeaway jumpers vs Houston either.
