Trust us, if you like the stats you'll like watching the real team playing even more. Bad year to sit out.
Me, too. Win or lose it feels like the Lakers again to me for the first time in years. Luke has been instrumental in that. It's fun again.
yeah, rodg chose a bad time for interest to wane, particularly given that he'd endured the most recent fan traumas. that said, we can't control these things. i've been significantly less invested since my daughter was born (2+ years ago). pair life with living on the east coast (as i believe both rodg and i do), and you miss some games here and there. as it is, i usually have to check out at half time in order to get some sleep. still, though, the bits that i'm able to see are so much more uplifting than what i was motivated to avoid the past couple of years.

man, 35 wins would be fantastic. i would lament how far the lakers have fallen, but i'm trying to enjoy the ascent back to respectability.
26 game improvement is 10th best in NBA history (well, as of 2010), so if the Lakers wind up with 43, they're on the list.
the current stretch has me feeling good (?) about my prediction of 33 wins, but i've certainly seen enough to suggest that it could inch closer to .500. i definitely wouldn't have predicted lou williams being the team's clear best player AND the team winning more than expected to happen simultaneously.
