I'm all for this. We have a bunch of preseason games to try things out. If MWP is starting, they're obviously more concerned with experimentation than putting the best squad possible in the starting lineup right now, and I fully support it for the first few games rather than a game or two before the season starts.
Bringing in a coach like Luke allows him to do these type of moves without everyone calling for his head. Gotta have faith in his vision.
In preseason it's about the internal wins than the actual win loss column. We would have won if we had our best lineup out there. Luke needs to see who would have stepped up from the C team
Let Luke do what he he needs to do. We know the Lakers could have won last night, but he wanted to see if anyone in that last group is worth keeping. I seriously doubt he will start Lou Williams in the regular season.
Not a fan o As long as he's taking the shot right from the pass instead of hesitating he will be fine. Otherwise he just ends up stopping the offense dead in the tracks. With that said, I do wish we can package him and Nick for a back up 2 guard that has some size to him.
Admittedly, JC needs be a starter the way the roster is currently constructed. L. Williams, A. Brown, and N. Young all have their issues and Ingram needs more time to develop. However, I will concede that I love JC coming off the bench with Nance, Ingram, Black, and Calderon. There's something with that unit. I guess we'll see how it works out.
Young wasn't bad, until he started chucking shots, but Lou doesn't move the ball at all. Nick just takes what's given to him.
Right. I like this unit a great deal coming off the bench. Spacing, length, versatility, etc...Black does struggle when a team goes big, though. Either way, a lot of mixing and matching to see what works...6 more games to figure it out.
