Kaminsky has been more than just a "tourney story" and is rightfully the Naismith Player of the Year. He's held up this type of play all season long.

Sure, he doesn't have some of the potential that some of these younger players have, but he definitely has some skills and poise that some of these 1 and done prospect won't even touch. He didn't need to be athletic, super strong, big hands, anything like that. He's a workhorse with a good head on his shoulders and he's led this Wisconsin team to the Final game with authority. He may be a Senior, but he's also shown that he's durable, something Freshman can't seem to hold up to out the gate. College seniors with his skill used to be prized possessions in the 80's and 90's.

Again, I'm not saying we take him ahead of Towns or Okafor, but he does deserve strong consideration as a Top 10 pick, especially above some of those Europeans.

    My current board (Lakers focused):

    1. Towns
    2. Okafor
    3. Cauley-Stein
    4. Mudiay
    5. Russell
    6. Johnson
    7. Winslow
    8. Hezonja
    9. Kaminsky
    10. Porzingis

This is by the book "tortured athlete" dilemma. Come out now for the guaranteed 1st round money......or "college life" for another year. With the multiple risks that path can bring. He's coming out. My sources have confirmed. :lipssealed:

The tournament wasn't great for his stock. In a weak draft next season Johnson could be a Top 5 pick. After the tournament and Winslow's skyrocketing value, it might be better for him to stay honestly.

He could be a top 3 pick next season in all honesty. Next year is supposed to be really, really bad.

If I were him I'd probably still take the leap, but I can understand him staying too.

I'd totally get it if he stayed. AZ is a very good team and as you said, his stock dropped.

15 lead changes already, RandleROFY! Closely matched. Got to say I'm very impressed with Frank the Tank right now.

Frank is earning a Top 10 pick right now. I know it's smart, but I'm not a fan of his flopping. He's a really smart kid, but I think his lack of athleticism is still a hindrance at the next level.

Definitely been a great game so far. I want to see them feed the ball to Kaminsky and Okafor more here in the second half.

Winslow and Okafor in a bit of foul trouble. Not good for Duke at all.

Grayson Allen single handedly keeping Duke in the game.
