Hmmm.....not bad.....semi-impressive at the least. Wish I could say the same for the absolutely bad soundtrack choice that does not work with either the footage or the player. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Depending on who we draft with out first pick, I would be pretty content with Jones or Jefferson. I also think there is a good chance of a talented guy slipping To our second round pick.

In a perfect world, we end up with Towns, Hollis-Jefferson, and Tyus Jones.

Okafor, Hollis-Jefferson, and George Lucas. The last pick... Kaleb Tarczewski. Waive Sacre. Spend money on a wing in FA.

    Clarkson/ Lin/ Lucas
    Bryant/ Brown
    Middelton/ Young/ Hollis-Jefferson
    Randle/ Kelly
    Okafor/ Black/ Tarczewski

No one but Kobe on that team over 26 years old I think. Most of them under 25 in fact. Pretty awesome rebuild. A young team you can keep together forever. In the summer you can throw the book at Durant or you can re-sign Kobe to a one-year deal then throw the book at Westbrook.

Perfect draft if we get all our picks...need to keep losing and Clips need to be knocked a couple of notches

Finally, we agree wholeheartedly on a lineup. Granted, I have no clue who Tarczewski is. :worried:

I threw in the Middleton name because I knew you'd like it. :D

Tarczewski is the big 7 foot Center from Arizona. Think more athletic Sacre with better defense and no mid-range shots. I just figure we could save half a million that way and spend it somewhere else.

He was the center for Arizona. He was a solid center who provided consistent defense and energy.

Why don't we go back to our backup center farm in Gonzaga and snag Karnowski? He was pretty impressive imo.

Does any team have multiple first round picks other than potentially us or the 76ers?

Oh ok. I have just been brainstorming a lot different scenarios this morning if we ended up with the 4th or 5th pick. One was if a guy like Stanley Johnson fell in the draft whether or not we could potentially trade down with someone to grab him and someone else.

I had the same thought. If we draft ahead of Philly somehow, I wonder if they'd trade something like:

    Lakers out: #3, #27, #34, #55
    Philly out: #5 and #15

Exactly. We could potentially grab Winslow or Johnson and a guy like Jerian Grant at 15.

Or grab Cauley-Stein and Dekker. Ugh, can this season be over already?

I've been wavering and shifting my boards on different players, but ultimately, I know it'd be nice to draft a star with a top 5 pick; but I just want us to walk out of this draft with 1 starter out of our (hopefully) 4 picks. I know that expectation seems relatively low, but the FO knocked this last draft out of the park. Regardless of what we think their ceilings are, I think it's safe to say that Randle and Clarkson are at least starting quality NBA players in the future years to come, health willing. On a team that will most certainly attract star talent once we've shown that we are at least competitive that is huge.
