Towns used only two moves all game long and was rarely double teamed. However, there's an old adage you might have heard: if it ain't broke don't fix it. Notre Dame did absolutely nothing to stop him and they paid for it. He won't be able to do that at the next level so easily, but it's good to see he's got a couple of moves down for easy buckets when the occasion calls for it.

Really in the post if you've got one move and a counter move that the defense can't stop... you're golden. The more the better obviously, but in reality you need only a move and a counter move. Kareem had one major move in the post.

Having a pick in the 5-10 range would have been pretty good too, sadly because of protections we need it to be 1-5.

Kind of an interesting Rudy Gay type of player who's projected towards the back end of the 1st Round.

^Damn, didn't know that. Towns over Okafor, Winslow, WCS creeping up; draft night should be fun.

I'm strongly considering WCS at 4/5 for us, because he would fit out needs really well defensively.

    My board is currently:

    1. Towns
    2. Okafor
    3. Mudiay
    4. Russell
    5. WCS
    6. Winslow
    7. Johnson
    8. Porzingis
    9. Kaminsky
    10. Hezonja

If Kaminsky totally busts Kentucky, I'd move his stock up to 5 in a heartbeat. That'll be a tall order, literally, but this was the match up I was hoping for him in terms of his skills.

I'm not mad at that list at all.

If we get WCS at 5 I'm starting to kind of like that fit. I don't know their relationship off the court, but Cauley-Stein and Randle are at least familiar with each other and know how each other plays. They're at least in theory very complementary pieces.

Totally went over my head that they both already played with each other at Kentucky. Yeah, I might even consider him at 4 even just solely based on fit.

If that happens someone is going to get a real steal later on in the lottery.

I get it, Johnson had a bad last game and Winslow has looked like a superstar in this tourney. But still that's a big drop.

Man, it's not hard to say that WCS really carried that Kentucky team defensively last year. This year, he has the help from additional 7 footers, but he's certainly the defensive leader out there.

    I would LOVE that here.

Seven kids have already declared for the NBA:

Myles Turner, Montrezl Harrell, RJ Hunter, Jarell Martin, Terry Rozier, Rashad Vaughn, and Michael Frazier.

After watching some of the draft prospects during the NCAA tournament, here's my personal nba comparisons for some of them...

Jahlil Okafor = Brook Lopez or Greg Monroe, nice post game (Although Okafor has better post moves than Brook Lopez right now already) but weak defender
Karl Anthony Towns = Roy Hibbert
D'Angelo Russell = Brandon Roy or Evan Turner (D'Angelo Russell to me is a bit of a gamble because he will either be a gem or a bust. But the skillset is similar to Roy and Turner in which they aren't reliant on athleticism but use craftiness and passing ability)
Justice Winslow = Jimmy Butler (Can hit/create big shots on the perimeter, above average wing defender.)
Stanley Johnson = Wesley Johnson (Something tells me Stanley Johnson is gonna be Wes Johnson 2.0 but his best case scenario would be Kahwi Leonard).
Willie Cauley-Stein = Joakim Noah without the passing ability.
Sam Dekker = Gordon Hayward/Chandler Parsons
    Frank Kaminsky = Ersan Ilyasova

Okafor - Greg Monroe is good, but he's CURRENTLY closer to Al Jefferson. He could be better, but right now, that's what he's more like. Strong offensive game, really little defensive impact except for his size.

Towns - A LOT more mobile than Hibbert. Hibbert is also 7'3, Towns is more in the range of 6'11-7'. He's more a young Bynum.

Russell - Roy was really athletic, and Turner is a two way player. Russell has really good vision and shooting skills, but he lacks that elite athleticism most combo guards have. Ginobili is a good comparison for a ceiling for him.

Winslow - Probably more Evan Turner than Butler. He's stepped up this tourney, shows good shot creating abilty.

Stanley Johnson - Wes Johnson is off. Wes is purely an athleticism dependent player. Johnson is built like a tank and is defensively really sound. Leonard is a good start, but he can be Metta if he really plays his cards right.

WCS - Noah is a good comparison. I think Cauley-Stein is a little more nimble and athletic than Noah, but same defensive prowess that you want anchoring your defense.

Dekker - Hayward is an excellent comparison. Very similar games and hustle.

Kaminsky - He's too skilled to be compared to Ilyasova. I'd say more Pau Gasol-lite.

    If we're doing comparisons-

Okafor- Right now: Al Jefferson / Upside: Tim Duncan- / Likely finish: Monroe +
Towns- Right now: Joakim Noah / Upside: Bynum / Likely finish: Noah w/jumper
Russell- Right now: Kevin Martin / Upside: Ginobili / Likely finish: Kevin Martin
Winslow- Right now: Jimmy Butler - / Upside: Paul Pierce / Likely finish: Rudy Gay
    S. Johnson- Right now: Metta World Peace (2012) / Upside: Ron Artest (2007) / Likely finish: Ron Artest (2010)
Cauley-Stein- Right now: John Henson / Upside: Tyson Chander + / Likely finish: John Henson +
Dekker- Right now: Wes Johnson+ / Upside: Jeff Green / Likely finish: Jeff Green
Tank- Right now: Channing Frye / Upside: Pau Gasol- / Likely finish: Mehmet Okur

Only one I'd change is WCS. I think he's going to finish a lot closer to Chandler than Henson. So I'd put him at a little worse than Chandler as opposed to a little better than Henson. If we end up at #5 and take him, I'll be pretty pleased. And count me in on the Winslow over Johnson crowd. Winslow is managing to stand out on a team that already has Okafor and Tyus Jones.

Cauley-Stein- Right now: John Henson / Upside: Joakim Noah / Likely finish: Tyson Chandler -

OK follow me here..... I know the baby sitter for this family that lives next door to Dekker's family's gardner's best friend, realdeal, and Sam is looking for you and pissed. Bringing Wes Johnson's name up in any kind of comparison to him has him ready to fight you. Just letting you know.....watch your back.
