Yeah, Dekker had a really impressive all around game. Definitely climbing up the boards. I don't see the Singler comparisons though.

Don't see the Zbo comparison. Okafor has better footwork and a wider array of moves. Zach uses his wide mass against his opponent. Zach has a greater mid range game, Okafor has more potential in the post.

Well, at the very least he doesn't come across as a douche or cocky d***-face. Or does that just happen when you put on a Duke uniform. Or wait..is it because you already are one that you do go to Duke? Hmm, these are the eternal questions.

I see Jeff Green in Dekker.

This Arizona/Xavier game is really slow, but that's how Arizona wins games. Stan Johnson looks pretty good.

Johnson reminds me of Jimmy Butler.

Didn't see much of the Kentucky game. Seems Towns was in foul trouble and kept out most of the game.

Stainbrook does not look like a basketball player, if you saw him on the street. Wrong era for him. I think he could've found a niche in the league in the 90s.

I see the consensus no. 1 pick Okafor being downgraded by most media types. It seems like mindgames from Phil if they somehow lost their 1st pick position.

Another Okafor piece, this one on his potential and upside on both ends of the floor (some interesting observations defensively)

Awesome read. I'd love to read that he started watching those guys on defense too, but it's certainly a GREAT read on how and why he's such a terrific post player in an era when post players hardly exist anymore.

edit- my favorite part is his coach telling him where his feet, knees, shoulders, hips, etc. should be. It's the exact argument I made against Towns who clearly hasn't had any of that coaching. Okafor isn't immune to injury, but he's got that fantastic old-school big man game. I'm really into this kid's future.

It'd be a dream to put him next to Randle and have one of the best young front courts in the NBA for 10-12 years.

Winslow is looking like a rock star. He might play his way above Stan Johnson in the draft.

Well, Winslow might be another option if we land at 4 or 5.

First time I've watched Wisconsen for an entire game this season today. I came away very impressed with both Frank the Tank and Sam Dekker. Stanley Johnson not so much.

I must be a bad luck charm for Stanley. He never plays well when I watch him.
