That ether will make your soul burn slow

But the player if he's tough should use it as motivation

Yeah I think Ding just got mouthpieced by the Lakers. That's alright though it almost worked until the C Bags were willing to sell their whole team for Okafor at #3.

    Also,

Russell may be a smokescreen in an attempt to pressure Sac to make a deal, if Okafor is their guy.

Talks last night ended after Sacramento asked for Clarkson, Randle, #2, + more draft assets (crazy).

Have not started back up today, but could at any time.

KARL WANTS D'ANGELO RUSSELL is what I'm thinking...

Everything I've seen from the kid screams dummy. I'm not usually one to call out a guy's intelligence but... I don't think he's the brightest bulb out there. Super talented though. Maybe Nick Young-esque? But I think Nick is smart, just unfocused...

If Okafor is their guy, why would we threaten to take Russell?

Or is it smokescreen to get Philly to trade up for our pick and get something out of it?

Is Beasley more basketball literate than Wes?

Definitely part of it is a smokescreen to get Philly to give up a pick to get Russell, but it won't happen. They found a sucker in the C Bags for the 3rd pick so that if we pick Russell, the Sixers will get Smart, Olynyk, #16, and probably a couple other picks too. The Sixers are calling our bluff. We'll take Okafor.

Good lord media is nuts right now. I don't think I've seen this many updates since the Dwight fiasco.

Sorry. Disregard that: in essence we're 'leaning' Okafor,' haven't talked to Sacramento today but talks have cooled down considerably, and the Russell talks he thinks are a smokescreen. Cue the smoke gif...

Ew I don't want 5 million wrapped up in Embiid... Also why take Embiid AND Okafor AND try to get Aldridge AND have Randle? :D

    Screw you "small ball"! :D

Man, I never thought the draft with a #2 pick would be so mentally and emotionally taxing. I'm sure the joy will come later, but this is intense. Kind of like a wedding.
