We got the 4th spot locked up, IMO. Now, it's time to move up. Top 3 here we come...

Minny might win this today. Up by 1, 5 seconds left.

Quick edit: they won against MEM today. Great job.

Ah yeah! Minny wins their second in a row, this time against Memphis! These guys are going to move up the ladder.

Those Philly games are going to be very important. They are as bad as we are. I think we'll be losing to Minny at this point, plus they are coming back in a big way right now. But Philly is going to struggle the rest of the way just like we are - still our biggest competition in the tank department.

Sacre gets green light to "chuck" all night long those games. 20 foot Js.....16 foot brick hooks..... show off his repertoire of offensive moves [IMG]

All in good fun Rob.... no harm no foul, right?

at least we have a lot more games left against western teams then East. But yes, this is a little concerning. Minny should be much better now though as long as they can stay healthy.

What would be interesting to know is how many more times the Magic, Twolves, Knicks, and C Bags play the worst of the worst teams??

Must lose games. No need to be cute and act like we have a winning culture and all. This IS the time to tank like never before!!!

Theres no shame in tanking. We straight out suck and to get better we need to hit the bottom. Heads will roll if we lose that draft pick. Those 5 games ^ are must lose games.

76ers: Lakers x2, Knicks x2, Boston, Orlando, and Indiana x2, Bucks x2, Utah, Sacremento x2, Detroit, Denver, Charlotte, (These guys won today! :))

Magic: Still have games against Knicks x2, Philli, Boston x2, Minnesota and Charlotte and Detroit (These guys are horrible despite their talent. Maybe the new coach....)

Twolves: Have Lakers x2, Knicks, Orlando, and Detroit, Denver, Charlotte, Utah x2, Sacremento (They have had a major talent influx with Rubio Martin etc, let's hope)

Knicks: Lakers, Orlando x2, Boston x2, Philli, Minnesota, and Detroit x2, Bucks, Indiana x3, Sacremento, Denver, Utah (Knicks have the likely option of shutting down Melo and buying out Amare)

C Bags: Knicks x2, Orlando x2, Philli, and Charlotte x2, Bucks x3, Utah, Sacremento, Detroit x2, Indiana. (These guys look likely to get some surprise wins this year above the others):)

Update...Philly won. If we lose tomorrow, we'll only be 1.5 games back of the 3rd spot.

There's GREAT shame in tanking. Wanting your team to lose is the absolute opposite of fandom. In all my years as a Laker fan I've never succumbed to this feeling. Even last year tanking disgusted me and I wanted no part of it.

The only solace I take from this is that we were forced into this position due to a lot of unforeseen circumstances. Some decisions we made contributed too (not trading Pau), but there were also many things outside of our control (Dr. Buss death, vetoed trade, Kobe/Randle injuries).

Minny won again tonight. They are going to cruise right by us. With a full squad now, they should play .500 ball from here on out. They actually have a pretty decent team considering they lost Love and traded Brewer.

That's actually without Orlando winning...they collapsed in the final 2 minutes up by 6 over Chicago.
