And you're a big dude aren't you? Or is it, "bad" dude? Either way ...... Mitch don't screw this up! You don't want John pissed! The Lakers have a chance to draft their next great BIG Man and need one to call their own again.

agree with unpossible, mudiay really reminds me of tyreke. considering that i think some of tyreke's problems are mental/off court, if mudiay is a more solid character, he could be really good. still take okafor, though.

If 6ers take Porz and the Knicks trade with Boston, then both Russell and Mudiay could really fall unless there's another trade at 5.

Yup. Called this if it happens; wouldn't surprise me at all. Then Russell will probably head to New York...

This paragraph from Sheridan jumped out. Hinkie is sick in the head. He could be a reality show star. NBA Draft Hoarders [IMG]

The 76ers have picks 3, 35, 37, 47, 58 and 60 in this year’s draft. They also own the rights to four first-round picks next year: Their own, the Lakers’ (protected 1-3), the Heat’s (protected 1-10), the Thunder’s (protected 1-15), along with nine second-round picks from other teams between 2016 and 2020.

no joke, he better be able to convert that to some serious talent

and Phil would be smart to consider trading the 4th for multiple picks from Boston or Philly if those guys are sold on a particular guy at 4

Hinkie has to flip those 2015 2nd rounders now, otherwise a lot of those picks will go to waste. And with the international mass-exodus, this appears to be a very bad year to have second-round picks. Most are saying the draft takes a massive dive near the end of the first round.

Nah. Whoever trades up into the 4 spot will take Russell if Porzingis goes 3. Philly or Boston (the teams mentioned as likely trade partners) would take him. A backcourt of Smart and Russell would actually fit well together.

I will say, I don't think Philly makes sense for them. They aren't giving up # 3 and that's their only first rounder this season. They aren't giving Phil Noel or Embiid (I would think) for that #4 pick so what can they really offer that would help Phil this season? Boston on the other hand makes some sense. Boston gives up this year's pick and next year's Brooklyn pick and next year's Mavs pick. Decent haul.

BUT in the end, a lot of people think Russell is a transcendent talent. Why would you even think about giving that up for a bunch of mid first rounders who will likely be role players? If yo have a chance at a star take him. Role players are a lot easier to find than stars.

Jeez, a lot of maneuvering/possible smoke screen talk right now. I can't wait until this is all done, really. The speculation stuff kind of drives me crazy.

Lakers brought in 5 2nd round prospects (undisclosed to us media types) to work out w/ Mudiay in his 2nd workout - Okafor will do solo today

    According to Pincus

    My prediction:

    1st - Okafor

2nd - packaged as part of some deal (either moving up in the first, although I doubt it, or more likely, moved for a future pick / player overseas). just don't think they want to take on that guaranteed contract

3rd (2nd round pick) - we'll keep that one if not part of the 2nd first round pick trade.
