what a fantastic interview session. I'm as in as it gets on the Okafor bandwagon. Real was right all the time

I noticed that too. Oak's verbiage is completely leaning towards wanting to be drafted by us.

Man, Okafor's replies in his interview are sharp and decisive.

    Music to my ears.

And that's another slip, "when I come here. "

He's got a weird hitch in his jumpshot, like he needs to gather himself before going up. It would be beneficial for it to be one smooth motion. It looks slow and easily blockable, and the trajectory is being offset by it as well. Bend those knees big fella, one motion, and follow through.

yea...i'm sure the mechanics on his jumpshot can be worked on...as long as his low post game is solid, this kid can contribute right away

i like the poise he had in the interviews as well

^Yeah, hopefully they work on that hitch.

I still prefer drafting Towns because of his versatility, but I'd be very happy with Okafor. Can't lose scenario either way.

I really liked Coach Miller's interview with Towns today as well. And the much better footage of him moving about and stroking his shots. Very impressive all the way around. If that's who we get instead it's still a win win. Long live the 2015 Tank. [IMG]

Saw that too. His shot looked decent after release, but leading up to it was a weird roller coaster.

I saw him take very few jumpers in the NCAA, but when he did they never looked like that... You know what? When I saw him shoot jumpers in the NCAA, it was almost never off the dribble. I'm guessing that's a really foreign motion for him. When he shot jumpers for Duke it was more fluid, but he had the ball in the mid-post area.

He punished Mad Dog in the post though from what I've heard so that's what I'm looking for out of him.

He just has to develop a functional jump shot. I don't care if it looks pretty or not but just make sure it's effective.

I really want Okafor, so much that I feel like the Wolves are going to take him.

Here this DE video will give you a good look at the jumpers I'm talking about. They're not pretty by any means, but they don't have that huge hitch in them.

Yeah his jumpshot is funky but he's got time to work on it. In the meantime he'd still be dominating in the post. A nonfactor to me IMO.
