    KEVIN DING @KevinDing
Emmanuel Mudiay's 1st predraft team workout is done here w/Lakers. The jumper does look a bit clunky. Said he tried to showcase athleticism.

Hopefully it's Jah. He's the only one we've see no workout footage from. I'm ready to see/hear what he's got.

What.... are you kidding no one wants to put up with Kobe, and the "rising" juggler's knot Clippers franchise is where they now want to play.

Of course, who'd want to go play for Minny, Philly or NY?

Emmanuel Mudiay on Kobe Bryant: "I'm competitive just as much as he's competitive."

OMG this kid is too dumb to be a point guard. [IMG] And since he's not going to be on our team, just gave 24 some some new bulletin board material. Like the "mean tweet" on Kimmel's show dogging him about not being able to dunk much any more.

Dumb, dumb thing to say in Lakers land. Though of course he meant nothing but a compliment with it. Because he never will be that insane with his workouts, and skills honing and preparation and study and playing through injuries ..... all in the purpose of competing to WIN. Even MJ never worked that hard or played through as much pain.

Hot damn he has that "rapid" release and shoots them in practice just like he would in a game. ;) No way to block that.... just like Curry and Thompson, with the same competitiveness as Kobe. Sorry but LOL.

Honestly if you're right and he has a little of that ego going...... even if not true at all and just came off that way..... Who Cares? Truthfully I expect more skills wise for someone coming out of college or 1 year pro ball, that THINKS they should even be in the top 5 picks. Look what Towns has developed, look what Okafor has developed. Maybe there's a clip and granted I haven't seen a whole bunch...... that shows he really does have uber developed "skill" in at least 1 area. It's not shooting. Does he have D. Russell handles? We all know he has potential to be good. Maybe very good. Hell of an athlete, look what happened with Westbrook. Am I being too harsh here? If someone tells me he has all that size and athleticism and can HANDLE Really well already, then OK. Somewhat. How are his passing and seeing the floor abilities?

^ Supposedly he is more of a natural PG than Russell. He seems to possess good instincts at controlling the pace and setting up teammates, although Russell is flashier with his 'killer passes.'

IMHO both aren't a pure PG (ie Kidd) Russell's stock rose because he is similiar to Curry, but in reality, Curry's handles and shotmaking are on a different stratmosphere. Mudiay kinda reminds me of Tyreke Evans; they have similiar body-types and athletism. They're also good at everything, but not great at anything.

As for Kobe dominating the ball, it's a common misconception that he dislikes having his PG handle the ball. Just because he likes having the ball in his hands doesn't mean he hates putting it in others' hands. If anything, he encourages it (Lin), and respects PG's that deny passing to him (Fisher)

Yeah, exactly if he trusts them. For all the hate Fish got over the years for his weaknesses, god knows Kobe respected him as a brother in big moments and trusted Fish. Nash would have been the same. Kobe has never had the luxury otherwise, much.
