I've wanted Okafor all along and that's my immediate first thought right now. Give me Okafor/Randle with Clarkson outside. We've got a young core that will grow together into something special.

    I'm so deliriously happy!

Yeah, I have mixed feelings about it.

Okafor is Al Jefferson. Which makes me a bit sad.

I really want Okafor as well, but I'm going to watch a bunch of highlight videos for Towns so that I don't end up disappointed either way.

But holy crap. Words can not describe how happy and surprised I am right now. I was so nervous and pessimistic all day.

I think Okafor is going to have a better career than Al. He's already at that level and improving.

So who do we have that can train our new center since Kareem is out?

Anyone have a picture of Okafor with the purple and gold photoshopped on?

Minnesota is believed to prefer prefer Jahlil Okafor, per @JerryZgoda, which could leave Karl Towns for the Lakers at No. 2.

We desperately need Okafor to start blocking shots.

I could have sworn I read a report that said the Wolves were interested in Towns; that's why I thought we end up with Okafor. We still have workouts, though. Things could change...

If Karl-Anthony Towns is determined to get to Lakers, it'll be interesting to see how agreeable his camp will be to meeting with Minnesota.

Maybe they need a point guard. Don't they always go for point guards? Just acting crazy right now... I just have to throw something...or someone. LOL!

Mitch always makes the correct decision. As I've been saying, anyone we pick will be much better as a Laker than he would be with another team.

If Okafor goes #1 I'll settle for Towns at #2. Might be a better fit, but he makes me really nervous physically.

Sorry if this has already been posted but this was on Chad Ford's big board yesterday:

"Okafor also skipped the combine completely. It was a small surprise given feedback from his camp that he's in the best shape of his life (an ongoing concern for scouts) and that he could've at least shown off a slimmed-down physique in testing. The scouts who still had Okafor No. 1 felt there was one team that might lean Okafor over Towns -- the Minnesota Timberwolves. Given that they have the best shot (25 percent) of landing the No. 1 pick on Tuesday, there's a chance that Okafor could still end up No. 1. Okafor will hold a workout for NBA teams in Santa Barbara, California, on Thursday. If he's really in great shape and shows more explosiveness, he'll help himself. I'll be in Santa Barbara to give a full report."
