Omg, if we have the third worst record and then get bumped 3 slots and have to give up the 6th pick, I'm really gonna murder someone cold.

    ;)

I can already see it now. That Draft Lottery is going to be major nervous time for me and I'm sure for all of us. Could be a wonderful night or could go south REAL quick

No use worrying about it now though, as so much can change

Just saw that. I'm going to have to take a look tonight and see where we are at. I'm pretty much only going to look at those guys slotted for about 20-30 and a few in the late teens. We're most likely getting the 23rd or 24th pick or so.

Taking a quick glance at the list, Tyus Jones and Devon Booker immediately caught my eye in the 20 to 30 range. Could also see one of the Kansas guys (Alexander or Oubre) potentially tumbling a bit given some of their early season struggles.

Don't like our chances the way we're playing lately. We've gone from freakin sucking to being mediocre or even decent.

The Knicks have done a pretty impressive job thus far. No way did I think anyone could finish worse than the 76ers and they just might do it.

I'm not relying on that pick. I'm going to assume we miss it and focus on the mid-low twenties for our pick. I'm hoping we grab either a shooter, an athlete, or a big man project. It'll help ease the way out of Sacre, Ellington, or Wes Johnson leaving this summer.

Right now we're looking at Tyus Jones, RJ Hunter, Dakari Johnson, and Rashad Johnson. Maybe a guy like Robert Upshaw too seems intriguing.

edit- BUT... if we do get the pick then my draft board is now:

    1. Okafor
    2. Towns
    3. Mudiay
    4. Winslow
    5. Johnson
    6. Cauley-Stein
    7. Porzingis

when the lottery happens if we get picked before selections 1-5, that means we dont get the pick. Just because we might end the regular season with the 4th or 5th worst record, that doesn't guarantee us anything. As you saw with the tweet @RandleROFY posted, we do still have a chance (slim) of still keeping our 1st pick even if we have the 6th or 7th worst record.

It's best that we just go ahead and believe that we won't get it. That way we won't be as bummed out if we fall short. Then if we do keep it it will just be a huge, wonderful surprise.

    That.

Just accept in your mind we won't get it then if it happens it's an awesome day for us. Otherwise it'll be a very sad day indeed if/when the NBA decides to give us the 6th pick.

Denver has made everybody on their roster available...Lowe was on the radio this morning and said '"People around the league tell me Denver has begun to communicate, okay we're done and we're going to start look at whats available because we're not going to make the playoffs".

I'd really like to see Clarkson, Kelly, & Black play 10-15 minutes a night. If that comes at the expense of Price, Boozer, & Sacre so be it.

    Darius Soriano @forumbluegold · 13h 13 hours ago
The way I see it, right now the team is neither winning games nor getting their young guys minutes. So what's really being accomplished?

I agree with this...Boozer isn't coming back next year, Price might but is still a toss up, and we know what Sacre brings to the table already; I had so much fun watching the 4th quarter yesterday even in a blowout. Seeing guys develop, watch them grow, and witnessing who has a chance to stick with this team beyond this year; at this point 37 games in, I'd say play more of the young guys and even at the expense of losses, I would take it. It would also help us keep our pick.
