Cavs trying to get Jamal Crawford or Joe Johnson for Hayward's massive expiring deal.

I'd rather the Cavs land Crawford. If there's anyone MORE streaky and disappears than JR Smith, it's him.

On the flipside, I don't want the Clips to have that Hayward asset.

Don't think we have enough to entice them in a trade...maybe a 3 way with Dallas? He's probably too big to play the 3 spot though. And he's seemingly immature too.

Apparently the Clippers are trying to get sideshow Bob from the Cavs to so they can have a starting center next year.

If he's not in the Hibbert trade, I'd gladly throw them Nick Young if it meant Hayward's instant cap relief and a 2nd rounder if we could squeeze that out too. Theb use the extra $ to make a bid on what's left of the SF market.

Varejao still feels like a PF to me and he's hurt more than anyone. Isn't he also LeBron's closest friend? I don't see it.

David West is the one player who truly deserves to win a championship. Always putting in work. Always lauded for being a great locker room guy and a mentor to all the young guys.

Although I wouldn't want the Spurs to win again, better than the Cavs should they meet.

Holy crap Batman. Is that just for this year or is he locked into it for more than one? That seems NUTS.

I'm pretty sure it's just a one year deal. Vet min deals are two years tops any way, so it's at MOST two years on the deal.

Props, David West. Always seemed like a standup guy and a hell of a competitor. Walked away from a $12 million payday because of how the Pacers sold Hibbert up the river, and is taking the minimum to play 6th man on a loaded Spurs squad to try and win a ring.

I don't blame anyone for taking the money whenever they can get it, but West deserves praise for truly showing he's all about winning in this instance.

Good for West. But I still don't see how exactly he fits on that team to be honest. But cool for him.

Popovich gets a chance to rest Duncan in stretches with both West and Aldridge...save him for the stretch run. Duncan and Aldridge will alternate at the 5. 60-40 ratio?

But... Aldridge doesn't want to be a Center!!! Nah really though I think the rotation is:

    Aldridge/West
    Duncan/Diaw

That's a really weak backup Center, spot but it is what it is at this point, right?
