Mitch is usually the man when it comes to trades, we need to work on our ability to pitch to free agents.
Always thought Kellerman was just a boxing analyst. He does have salient points. Two way centers are a rarity. Jordan and Aldridge aren't...even if they are prized targets.
To me this move has the ability to do exactly what the fans and ownership want. Fans want improvement. If he regains his mojo then he's a 28 year old former all start center. If not then Ownership has their $$ to chase faces of franchises next year. A possibility is that both happen and we can leave him unsigned and sign him after we get a top FA next year.
Is Randle projected to be a good rebounder? because we are going to need someone who can rebound since rebounding is not the strong point of Hibbert.
Mitch is probably like, "See, I can make great trades, I just need to improve or need help in recruiting free agents" Mitch certainly can swing some nice deals, even though like JSM and others have pointed out I'm very interested to see whats included in both parties.
In college he was great, and now thats he's in better shape I think he'll continue to do well. He's a tenacious guy when need be.
If we dump Kelly and Sacre and nothing else, this would be an excellent move. I like it either way, even if we're just absorbing his contract. Now go get McDaniels to split minutes with Swaggy and Kobe at SG/SF and get a veteran backup PG. I still want Biyombo but highly unlikely after we bring in Roy, and I'm happy with a C rotation of Hibbert/Black/Upshaw.
it is, so I understand why, but I was hoping we'd get more of a confirmation or idea of whats involved in the trade. I'm sure we well I mean with twitter nowadays nothing is kept a secret for too long
