The young guys are about the only thing we have to look forward, too. Our Front Office is a complete mess right now
It is over paying but its the price point set by the market this year. Tyson Chandler is getting 13 per, Asik is getting 12 per. Honestly I think RoLo is a better get than those two.
His 7 year career avg is 8pts 5reb. Last years P/40 RoLo 14pts 10reb T.Black 12pts 12reb I have a hard time giving a 27 year old vet that kind of money for those numbers.
That would be me. I'll post again. Robin Lopez - 12.4 pts, 8.4 reb, 53.5 FG% (per 36 min) Tarik Black- 12.3 pts, 10.8 reb, 58.9 FG% (per 36 min) Robin Lopez - $12 million Tarik Black - $840,000
Yeah, RoLo is in his prime, so those are pretty much his peak numbers. Black is entering his 2nd year and will only get better. I'll take my chances with Black, thank you very much.
Compare that to Sacre's per 36 numbers and we have two starting caliber centers on our roster for less than 2 million! Except for the fact that when you watch the 3, one is actually a starting caliber center, one is a bench big and one shouldn't be in the league.
Same here. It's similar to saying Rondo is better than Russell. True, but I'll take my chances with Russell
I'd ask for a first round pick too but... at this point... we're not in a position to ask for such demands.
Here's the thing, in 3-4 years we're gonna need money to offer extensions to our core of young players. If everyone plays up to their potential, that's gonna be expensive That's when sitting on a Lopez contract of 13+mil might be a problem
Incorrect. Sacre is a scrub no matter how you slice it Robert Sacre - 9.8 pts, 7.4 reb, 41.2 FG% (per 36 min)
Phil has a plan, we don't even have a "pl." with the PG crop is thin as it is, I don't see that happening
Fix him. Additionally maybe he's not a hard core addict, with the latter word being attached to him usually. Lots of young people and college kids "experiment" with multiple drugs. Knowing his college teams' rules yeah he deserved to be kicked off the teams but we don't know that he is hard core. Looking forward to seeing him in a few days. He's one of the guys in the 3 on 3 scrimmage Russell aced in his second workout. Am guessing they might have had him on DAR's team, looking for the synergy early. The better the guys Russell plays with the better he's going to be able to showcase his skills as well. Upshaw finds himself with the chance of his so far screwed up, young lifetime here. Lakers desperately searching for a competent big man and he's been given a HUGE chance at redemption from our storied franchise. Be one of the "young guns", Bob.
Bismack and tobias Vet pg Play the young guys they might surprise us Russ Kobe Tobias Randle Bismack Vet pg Clarkson Brown Nance Black/upshaw We might surprise then agents will be calling us saying they wanna be here
Go find Koufos and give him a f***ing contact. Offer one to Tobias. Wait for Orlando to match and then spend the rest of your cash on Who, The Hell, and Cares.
They have similar traditional numbers. Robin Lopez has much better impact/advanced numbers. Some numbers: % of blocks rebounded by own team: Robin Lopez: 60.7% Tarik Black: 52.4% Blocks Per 100 Possessions: Robin Lopez: 2.6 Tarik Black: 1.4 Snippets about RL: 2012-13 Blazers: Ranked #15 in offense, #26 in defense. They miss the playoffs. 2013-14 Blazers: Only change in the starting lineup is Robin Lopez. Now, they're ranked ranked #2 in offense, #16 in defense. They made it to the second round. Real +/- in 2014-15 Robin Lopez: +0.53 Tarik Black: -1.95 Also, RL's RPM two years ago was much more impressive +2.43.
