Not too worried about that pick since the draft class seems to be weak after the #1 pick

LA isn't coming; we have no analytics. You know as much as I don't like Byron, that's a horrible reason for LMA to cite for not coming...

They probably still feel confident that DJ or LMA is signing here so they are waiting......

It blows my mind that the FO is doing this... why we think we even stand a chance is mind boggling.

Silver lining....Larry Nance JR could win the slam dunk contest. Better showing than Shannon Brown, first since Kobe

That's not even close to the point though. If we aren't keeping the pick then what point is there going into the season with almost the same team that won 20 games last year? We're closer to the pick than to the playoffs right now. A lot closer.

I seriously doubt they are stupid enough to think this. I'm sure they are working on something

I'm cool on Monroe, actually. We didn't offer him the full max. I wasn't completely sold on him.

Well were going in with the same team as last year because no one wants to come here but i dont think a pick in next years draft would make us more attractive anyway. If anything it saves us 2-5 mil on their rookie contract (silver lining)

The only thing we have going for us is the potential in our rookies and cap room to sign anyone

But all that goes down the drain when you're not attractive to anyone :(

Honestly at this point i have no idea what's going thru the FO mind.

You cant hit HR every time and you gotta have a contingency plan when that happens

Yeah. I am trying not to rip LMA and end up coming across as butter but that was a head scratcher. What kind of analytics could we produce? We sucked last year. Did we not show a basic level of analytics? I don't get that. What could we possibly say.

And as long as I am keeping it real, Kobe is Kobe. Everyone knows he is not a warm and friendly guy. What were they looking for roses and hugs?

All in now at throwing $14 or $15 mil per year at Tobias Harris. Guy is 22 years old and has averaged around 17 pts per game in each of the last 3 seasons. 6'9 Sf who is both strong and athletic with an improving shooting touch. Not a bad consolation. Throw the kitchen sink at him at this point because it's getting uglier. Use what's left after that on any Center with a pulse.

I think this is the closest I'll get to experiencing a train wreck in person
