Starts at just under 17 million.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit discouraged right now. After the high from the draft I had a great feeling yesterday going into FA but it's been a dud so far. I guess might as well sign bigs for 1/2 year deals and then package them with Randle hoping for Cousins later in the year when Kings are ready to trade him?

There's literally no other impact bigs left that can come close to turning our ship around right now

The guy went from not even knowing the Playoffs to see his team fighting through them and losing in the Finals... without him. I mean, those were a lot of years of not even touching the Playoffs and then injuring himself while watching his team have more success than ever before (for him). I can definitely understand what was going through his mind, and while a lot of us think that the team was actually better without him, I'm sure he must be feeling something like "if I was healthy, we would've won."

To be honest, I really didn't want Love here. I don't think he really fit our team, and I don't think he's as good as the salary he demands. I'd rather use that money in a number of good, but not all-star pieces (Robin Lopez and another good player, for example) before going for Love.

They have DeRozan too? I mean, are they 100% sure he's out next summer?

Chandler is sounding more and more like our best option. Or ROLO. Just wish we could somehow get Harris, too. Or Harris and Davis. I don't think we can get Chandler AND Harris.

DeRozan has apparently been instrumental in the recruiting process, so that's not it.

Not a bad deal at all.

Harris and Chandler? I'll take it. Granted, that sends Clarkson (or Russell I guess) to the bench for at least next season...or until someone gets hurt. (I will not say the name since LTLaker told me to stop.)

We could make it work as long as Chandler is amiable to it. Even with Harris's max of 16.85 million (same as Monroe's), we'd have around 7 million to offer. That's more than the Clippers would have even if Jordan walks.

Agree on your last comment... Chandler AND Caron Butler...I'm good to go with. Aging stopgaps? Yes. Both would be good for stability while the youngins' get their noses wet. 24 will be gonzo then we have a max slot [or two?] to offer.

I've been saying since the draft that this is likely the best kind of FA period we can have. It would have been nice to get LMA but he's not the IDEAL fit. My thoughts on Love are the same as Magic Skywalker and it would be nice to grab Harris (or Middleton) but the CBA prevents us from doing that.

Chandler/RoLo hell even Monroe at this point and a starting caliber SF would be a great free agency. I hope we get our big soon and then figure out trades or w/e for the 3.

Oh Chandler can get more paper than the Clippers can offer? That's cool. The allure over there though is they have a squad that can contend and he was used to all that whining from Paul from a previous tour of duty.
